Bill Walker, BNP member and father of former BNP National Treasurer John Walker and Carlisle activist Rob Walker, died peacefully after a short illness on Friday the 18th of July at the age of 87.

Bill was a retired ex service man who had seen extensive action during WW2 as a Royal Naval Gunner and following the war went on to serve 22 years with the Royal Air Force Regiment retiring as a flight Sergeant in November 1975. His war experience saw action in the Battles of the Atlantic, Pacific, Italy, Burma and North Africa.

He survived five shipwrecks due to enemy action from German U boats in the Atlantic and by Japanese attacks of the coast of Burma.

His post war service included operational tour of Aden and postings to Germany and Cyprus and Malaya.

Bill was an avid reader of Voice of Freedom paper and donated generously to the party during the European, Parliamentary and local elections. He maintained strong links with his ex-service pals and was a member of the Royal Air Force and the Royal Naval associations.

He is pictured holding his voting card prior to voting BNP at last years Welsh Assembly elections.

He will be sadly missed. A true Nationalist and one of the toughest of a great generation.

The funeral takes place on Monday the 28th of July. All who knew him or his sons are welcome to attend. Please email despatch @ bnp.org.uk for details.

Righteous anger & political action:

The British National Party believes in telling the truth, even if it is sometimes uncomfortable to hear or offensive to those who would rather bury their heads in the sand than face real problems in our society. But while we often pass quite critical comment on the impact of immigration, multi-culturalism and alien religions on the indigenous people of our lands, we have no animosity towards immigrants, their descendants or the followers of non-native religions. Nor do we intend to encourage others to feel such animosity, or believe that anything we have to say is likely to 'stir up hatred' against anyone.

In fact, we believe that by providing a peaceful and Constitutional outlet for the anger and the frustration felt by millions of our people over the undemocratic transformation of our country by our political masters, the BNP actually defuses tensions. Where there is 'hate' we seek to turn it into righteous anger and political action against the only people who deserve to be hated - the politicians who use our taxes to turn our country into a place where we often feel like strangers in our own land.

A genuine real live HERO in every sense of the word.
No doubt the odious bunch of cretins in Westminster would rather forget people like Mr Walker. It makes me sick to the stomach to see phoney/local politicians gathering at the Cenotaph and war memorials all around the country, pretending they are honouring the brave men and women who died fighting for what this government are now giving away. I.E. OUR FREEDOM.

  23. THELMA H on July 22nd, 2008 1:50 pm

God Bless you Sir. What else can I say that hasn’t already been said?
My thoughts are with your family. Without brave men like you, our country is nothing. RIP

The very, very best of British.
    R.I.P. Sir

Bill Walker probably has more military medals than the whole of Parliament put together. In fact, I doubt that the Labour or Tory front benches have a single one between them.

God Bless You Bill and Rest In Peace.

Farewell Mr.Walker, may you dwell in the house of our lord God forever.
