Labour brings Zimbabwe politics to Sheffield
THE TRUE anti-democratic face of New Labour has been exposed for all to see in Sheffield.
Labour Party thugs have intimidated the committee of a local social club into cancelling a meeting of the British National Party due to be held in the city tonight.
The meeting was set to be held at Southey Social Club, but following a barrage of threatening and abusive telephone calls, the club steward called in the police and on their advice cancelled the booking.
Talking exclusively to the BNP website, an insider at the club revealed the level of intimidation that had come from Sheffield Labour Party.
“If the public knew what had taken place, they would be appalled. A legal and democratic political party have been denied the right to hold a meeting because another political party, the Government party, have used threats and intimidation to get it cancelled. Sheffield has seen Mugabe and Zimbabwe politics at its worst this week, without a doubt.
“Labour MPs have been involved. Labour City councillors have been involved. But the final straw has been the threat by partisan licensing officials concerning the future of the club. There was no option but to cancel the event if the club wished to carry on in business.”
And the Labour Party thugs even bragged about how they had got the meeting called off and denied the people of Sheffield the chance to hear a BNP spokesman.
Sheffield councillor Jackie Drayton told the Sheffield Star newspaper:
“The first battle is over and we won – I’m sure there will be more.”

The police are here to protect our citizens and should have shown a strong presence and let the meeting take. But no they did not.

The Labour Party, like a wounded animal, cornered and vulnerable, their wits shot and their only recourse is to lash out; that makes them very dangerous.
Jackie Drayton, councillor for Burngreave which is one of the most “enriched” and violent areas in Sheffield. If anyone has the misfortune of travelling through that area, you would be forgiven for thinking that you were in the middle east.
I’m unlucky enough to have to go through Burngreave daily. Scores of men just milling round near the Mosque and showing no signs of road sense. Don’t they have jobs to go to? Aparently, Jackie Drayton lives in Burngreave. I pity her.

I used to work in Sheffield. There were some rough areas but I never thought of anywhere as a no-go area. Now half of Sheffield has been enriched and is more dangerous because of it.

Should the police not have protected the club and pursued those who were making the threats? I suspect that there are several Common-Purpose policemen involved. Why did they not do their jobs?

Have just read the following article and cannot express how disappointed i am to read something like this, I grew up in a working class area and always believed in the Labour party because they stood for the ordinary man, they were a working class party for a working class people. I had been a life long supporter of the Labour Party and voted for you without question.
I have always assumed that Labour were above this sort of thing because they didn’t need to act in this way and would always be fair and honest.
This is the sort of tactics I would expect to see in 3rd world politics, not in modern day England. I actually feel sickened at this type of politics and cannot believe you would allow let alone condone this type of action.
This surmounts to political blackmail and bribery. You have now very well lost my support and vote, in fact I feel so strongly about this I may even now pass on details about this report to all my friends, family, colleagues and anyone else I meet, with the intention of pointing out that anyone who can employ these tactics may not be worth supporting let alone voting for.

I am quite certain that all of us realise that as the BNP get stronger and at last start winning seats, this sort of evil event will become more and more frequent, and towards the end, when we look likely to take over power, these 1 brain-celled morons will be so scared that they will have to revert to physical violence, perhaps signing a pact with satan himself (ALLAH) and arm and let loose the islamist members. I wonder sometimes if our leadership have taken this into account because Nick and our other gallant leaders will become marked men. Have the party got enough ardent young followers to be a counter to these thugs, for at present we know we cannot count on our police forces to protect us?

As a former BNP Councillor, I am not surprised at this. But one day, just as in my own area, ALL threats of this type will become a thing of the past. We had similar threats in the West Midlands area, but typically where I was a councilor, these threats fizzled out eventually. Threats of violence and fire bombings if meetings were held, were met head on with ”If you have to telephone me first, you are nothing”. Other types of threat no longer hold sway, so be patient, Sheffield, you will go through a sea-change when it comes to the support of the masses.

I was due to attend the meeting at Southey Club tonight, but this is the sort of thing we are used to in Sheffield. The Southey ward in which the club is situated we came a good second with over a thousand votes.
Rest assured, this will not put us of fighting for the cause. We will just be more determined.

The finances are in a diabolical state, reports say somewhere between £17,000,000 and £24,000,000 but it could be more.
The Labour Heartland of South Wales is no more and the BNP are gaining councillors.
In the West Riding of Yorkshire they are having to resort to “Thug Tactics”, this can be very counter-productice. While at the same time the BNP vote climbs, and doing very well in Barnsley. Watch out Sheffield.
In Scotland they are reportedly having to resort to “HERO INVENTIONS” to hold on to Glasgow East.
I would say the British National Party is comprised of a large number of disaffected “Ex Labour Supporters”. They consider they have been abandoned.

Um…Now Sheffield BNP would have had a contractual relationship with Southey Social Club in this instance and, as I recall from my distant legal studies, an individual who induces a breach of contract would be liable in Tort to the injured party. There also used to be (and may still be for all I know) some interesting common law remedies available against individuals who conspire together to injure the lawful rights of others. There may be further liabilities under the Terrorism Act, too. So I think it would be worth while sending a strong message (let’s pinch one of Broon’s expressions) to these toe rags who intimidated Southey Social Club into withdrawing their invitation to the BNP to hold a meeting on their premises. That’ll wipe the smile off their LibLabCon faces.
So, the soon to be completely enriched Jackie Drayton thinks that she has won the first battle and that there will be more to come. Well, she is probably correct in this instance but I am sure that she and her ilk will definitely not ‘win the war’
I got a call from the BNP treasury today because my donations exceeded the £200 limit on anonymous donations but I was able to confirm my name on the electoral register so no problem there. I have read this article because it’s really worrying about the thuggish route which NuLab is going - so I donated another £100. I did this because it is now us or them, and we’ll have to dig deep into our pockets and our willingness to survive in order to defeat these fascists.
