Four local council by-elections this Thursday
THE British National Party will be contesting FOUR local council by-elections this Thursday all of which have something in common - we didn’t contest any of them the last time around.
This means that it is new territory for the Party so expectations must be kept in check, but the results will be analysed with interest and seen as a litmus test of the popularity of the BNP in the aftermath of all the publicity we received following the Henley by-election result.
Chadwell Heath is the BNP’s 5th worst ward in Barking & Dagenham so this by-election provides a useful exercise in building up support for the Party in preparation for fighting the parliamentary constituency at the General Election whenever Gordon Brown finds the courage to call one.
The Tories are fighting a huge campaign in Chadwell Heath and the word on the street is that their canvass returns show them ahead of Labour. Bob Bailey, the leader of the 12-strong BNP group on Barking & Dagenham Council is working hard with a dedicated team of activists and our excellent election leaflets, which were on show at last weekend’s Summer School, are being very well received by voters.
Every BNP activist in the borough is hoping for a derisory vote for Labour’s UKIP stooge Kerry Smith, whose brother and sister are both Labour councillors.

South Hornchurch ward for Havering Council returned councillors from Labour, the Conservatives and the Havering Residents Association back in May 2006, so it’s anyone’s guess who will take the seat this time around.
The Tories are firm favourites with the bookies only because they will be capitalising on Labour’s unpopularity. The Havering Residents Association have been discredited in recent years and labelled Conservative stooges for their antics in the council chamber. Voters might well be thinking why vote for them, when we can have the real thing.
As for the BNP . . . who knows. We have fought a good campaign and have polled strongly in other wards in the borough. One thing is for sure, once again we want to beat UKIP out of sight to speed the demise of the establishment’s bogus nationalist ’safety valve’.

If the voters of Christchurch ward were voting on the quality of the candidates standing then the BNP’s Michael Barnbrook would win hands down. A police officer of 30 years standing, Michael has been responsible for exposing the sleaze surrounding MPs expenses and it was only his diligence that brought about the investigations into the corrupt practices of Conservative MP Derek Conway.
The ward is Tory heartland but support for the BNP across the borough is growing by the day and we are very hopeful for a strong showing here.

The fourth by-election is a county council seat in a region never contested before by the British National Party. Eckington ward is very much a ‘test the water’ exercise to see what support we have in the area and to try to build on it in preparation for the European Elections next year.

I agree UKIP is a target that we need to trounce, to speed up its demise. Then UKIP supporters are realistically only left with the BNP to vote for.
However it would be nice to stuff Labour again!
Very good luck to all those candidates. Now that the BNP has lost its thuggish reputation and is seen as the ONLY alternative to a downward falling country we can expect to see some pretty impressive results. Its also nice to see new candidates springing up all over the country, just think, in a couple of years we may have full blanket coverage.
I live in North Derbyshire not far from Eckington. I think this area could do well for the BNP. It is an ex-mining area and the people feel betrayed by NuLabour. Could be interesting.

You’ll be lending your leafletting skills, then. - Ed ;~}
As an Essex girl born and bred, I left there originally because of a job. I still have many relatives and friends living there who’s lives have been enriched, not only by the lib-lab-cons vision of multiculturalism, but the influx of gypsies.
One friend has had to literally spend THOUSANDS on security. Alarms, locks, high strong metal fences and dogs!
I remember Essex and the little town where I lived as a sleepy, laid back, rural farming town.
NO MORE! Every time I return, I have think about where I am to regain my bearings because it has changed beyond belief.
I am told by my friends that this is now the GATEWAY to Britain. The gateway for all the immigrants to settle and ENRICH us some more. No wonder there are thousands more houses planned for Essex. It is now time to STOP this madness. Not only in Essex but all over OUR country. Please take this opportunity to do something about it!
I now live in the Henley area where we have just had a by-election. We knew that we were never going to win, as the Tories have won here for about a hundred years. However, we showed ‘Gormless Gordon’ the door, and if we can do that here in Henley then we can do it anywhere!
Good luck to you all in Essex, Christchurch, and Eckington. You all certainly deserve more than what you’ve got.
Let’s get OUR country back on track and kick these trough-snufflers where it hurts. The Ballot Box.
Good luck to all concerned and thankyou for fighting on behalf of the Indigenous population. The BNP is the only party that does care about this country and its heretage.
I still can’t fathom it out that people go on voting for the LabLibCon cartel - have they no perception at all about how the British way of life as we once knew it is only truly defended by one political party - the BNP, yet still the ‘rabbits in the headlights’ contine to support the status quo. Vote NuLabour and you should be ’sectioned’, vote Tory and you might need a brain-scan (to see if you have one) and as for the LibDems - well you might just cast your vote their way if you’re on marijuana regularly. For your nation’s sake and that of your children or grandchildren - VOTE BNP!!!!
Ed. A bit too short notice for me. I did not realise that we had a candidate that close. Please give me contact details for the North Derbyshire branch.

Please email enquiries@bnp.org.uk and they will give you the contact details. I don’t have them at my disposal right now -Ed
More hope on the horizon. Good luck to everyone involved on Thursday.
All voters in these 4 by elections get out there and vote BNP!
Ex-pat loyalist | July 1, 2008, 11:39 am. It really is quite simple the Lib/Lab/Con voting fraternity of this country are FRIGHTENED, they actually think the rabble in Drowning Street will “come and get them” Heee! Hee!! Oh, my aching sides. I VOTE BNP.
I think that the people who vote libconlab have no interest in politics, they probably dont have access to websites, only news media, and you know what untruths they print, and they believe what they read. Hopefully when they see the TRUTH TRUCK they just might start taking notice.
Don’t forget. The reputation that Nulab are not enjoying at the moment is exactly how the Tories reputation was in 1996-1997. Now the Tories are expected to win everything in sight. The media are wholly responsible for this state of affairs. They want every by-election of whatever kind to be a two horse race; “chuck the Labour out and get the Tories in”.
Ten years ago it was the same but the media chant was the reverse “Chuck the Tories out, get NuLabour in”. The disturbing thing is that it is working again. I worry about the state of our voting population. This roundabout has been producing red and blue governments of decreasing calibre for the last 60 years. How do we break the power of this juggernaut, the media? It seems that breaking the hold they have on the voting classes is the essence of victory for us. I sometimes think that these people are lost and we must reach out to the “no” voters. i.e. the percentage that don’t vote for whatever reason. The media is the tool of our enemies and they use it very well, and lead these easily-led fools wherever it pleases. We are doing very well. If you disregard the so-called top three, we are doing better than all the rest. But the media keep us in place. Why they even ignore the Libs in an attempt to make the chasm between us greater. So all out there, to get to the next level we must do something to halt the juggernaut if we don’t it will be a permanent struggle.
Good luck to all BNP people standing for election in all these wards.
My grand daughter recently stayed with us for two weeks and I asked her if she voted, she is 20 by the way, she said she has never voted and does not know anything about politics!
There must be thousand like her thinking that politics do not affect their lives.
I of course spoke to her about the BNP, but she did not seem interested or any the wiser, in September she is going to Southampton Uni.
What to do?
Hope not hate??
The BNP hates no one - but we hope we can get our country back.
Hope we can bring back morality. Hope we can bring our churches back. Hope we can get fair justice. Hope we can protect our children. Hope we can end the rule of the communist dictatorship. Hope we can look after our pensioners. Hope we can provide jobs for our children. Hope we can lower taxes.
God bless the BNP

The “antifascists” hate all the good things we aspire to.
We will never forget that, nor forgive. - Ed
Best wishes to these candidates. Voters, please stand up for yourselves and your country and vote BNP.
Let us hope that the electors look at the situation and realise they have been abandoned by the Liblabcon Artists.
All seats are new to us so any vote is an increase, let it be a very big increase.
I hate everyone who has used their knowledge to subvert kids into hating their history and skin colour. They know who they are, and boy, are they scared of us winning power!
THELMA H, you’re bang-on with your comment. I have lived next door to Essex in Suffolk all my life. We are completely swamped with immigrants as well, and it seems to get worse every month. So much for them going home because of their homelands’ economic conditions improving as Labour have so often implied.
A bit off track here, but I would just like to add a small note of thanks and admiration to all the hard-working members of the party, and in particular a resounding well done to all the news team and all concerned with the unending work put into this website week after week. Not forgetting the ED–well done to all. Groveling over, but heartfelt nevertheless.
__________
Groveling gratefully accepted–and thanks on behalf of all the various Eds for the kind words. They mean a lot!–Ed.
Previous posters have encapsulated very well what the BNP is offering this country - HOPE.
What a hugely welcome change from the despair, frustration and gloom offered by the self-serving LibLabCon cartel.
Onwards and upwards, BNP!
This isn’t meant to be a daft question, because I would genuinely like to know how we know that Chadwell Heath is our fifth worst ward in B&D when we’ve never fought it before?
Ive met a nice bunch of people whilst out leafletting my first couple of times, tomorrow is the last day before the elections on thursday. If you talk the talk why not walk the walk and help post the post, help get the message across to the voters.
Good question jrb.
We know Chadwell Heath is our fifth worst ward from the breakdown of the London Assembly Top-Up list votes from May 1st.

baz is correct about those who probably say something like, “Wot do ah want one o’ them computers for wen ah can watch telly an’ read t’Daily Mirror”. Sadly there are millions of them and for the BNP to, in effect, save them from themselves looks like–and indeed is–a monumental task.
I do, however, have a lot of confidence in the Truth Truck because it demands even less effort from those who would prefer to make no effort at all, particularly given that with rapidly rising levels of deliberately engineered illiteracy among the young, the printed media are going to have less impact as time goes on. Which will just leave the TV as the number one enemy of freedom. I think that the Truth Truck, being something loud and new, will jolt a lot of the TV-soap addicts off their couches.
Finally, can I please add my grovel to that of DISILLUSIONED?
We could do with printing out some of Richard Barnbrook’s speeches and posting them with leaflets. Ask people do they want more of this or do they want change for the better etc BNP 4 me
