Eddy Butler, the Party’s Elections Officer, is interviewed by one of our London correspondents on the BNP’s strategy in respect of recent Parliamentary by-elections. Although the video quality is not top notch, Eddy’s message is of great interest.

Righteous anger & political action:

The British National Party believes in telling the truth, even if it is sometimes uncomfortable to hear or offensive to those who would rather bury their heads in the sand than face real problems in our society. But while we often pass quite critical comment on the impact of immigration, multi-culturalism and alien religions on the indigenous people of our lands, we have no animosity towards immigrants, their descendants or the followers of non-native religions. Nor do we intend to encourage others to feel such animosity, or believe that anything we have to say is likely to 'stir up hatred' against anyone.

In fact, we believe that by providing a peaceful and Constitutional outlet for the anger and the frustration felt by millions of our people over the undemocratic transformation of our country by our political masters, the BNP actually defuses tensions. Where there is 'hate' we seek to turn it into righteous anger and political action against the only people who deserve to be hated - the politicians who use our taxes to turn our country into a place where we often feel like strangers in our own land.

I went to my first BNP meeting last night in Bridlington, and saw Nick Griffin. I want to say I was more than impressed. I’m a family man that is aware of whats happening, and will be spreading the word.
    Many Thanks

On principle, I would vote BNP simply on financial management. You run YOUR household just like I run mine - ideally! More tiger in your tank for your election money.

PS I expected the monster from the Blue Lagoon to emerge and wrap his tentacles round Mr Butler any minute.

Straight, honest, no spin, ‘tell it like it is’ talking from a politician? I put it on to download and watch later but once Eddy Butler started talking, I just wanted to watch it out. Of course, the same ‘breath of fresh air’ can be found from all the BNP ‘Top Table’ as well as from those who are less well known.

If like me, you are sick to death of the usual and repetitive spin and lies on BBC and SKY, or hearing about the latest Amy Winehouse saga, then try a few of these on BNPtv:

Many of use would like to see more elections contested. The problem is, in many instances, we are not fully in the picture as to resources etc.

Another point is, if we all agreed, all the time, we would be like a load of “Stepford Wives”. That would be frightening.

Don’t worry folks, we are not a reported £24m in debt like Labour!

Let’s go for all elections that will give the maximum return.

The BNP, thanks to Eddy Butler and others, are ‘getting the picture’ - and fast - Ed

With those accompanying sound FX, ‘welcome aboard’ from the Editor is the operative phrase.

An informative video, and certainly shows the prudent nature of the hierarchy within the party. What was all that splashing noise–the pigs just downstream jumping ship?.

What we need is a flying squad of leafleteers who have the time to move to election areas en mass when we get a by-election or are contesting just a few wards. We could organize to fix people up with over night accommodation, etc.

Sound thinking, warriorbrave, and this is in fact already part our electoral, organisational strategy.
The people involved are very dedicated and work extremely hard. - Ed

Eddy Butler talks sense as always, and yet I still wonder if we shouldn’t run at least a paper candidate in these constituencies (the joke election at Howden excepted of course). Even if we have nothing to learn from the experience, and no local team to run the election, we would at least give local nationalists a British nationalist to vote for and remind people that we are there and doing the sort of thing (i.e. standing in elections) which proper mainstream parties do.
