Islamic extremists should get therapy

Islamic extremists should get therapy, Home Office tells local councils

If this was April 1st, maybe we’d all laugh. But isn’t April 1st, and it’s very far from being funny! For such inept decisions are seriously deluded, and, endanger all of us!  Would someone tell Jacqui Smith, our supposed Home Secretary, that this idea is beyond foolishness??

Islamic extremists could escape prosecution and instead receive therapy and counselling under new Government plans to: “de-radicalise” religious fanatics.

The Home Office is to announce an extra £12.5 million to support new initiatives to try to stop extremism spreading.

The central element of the Home Office plan is a new national “de-radicalisation” programme that would persuade converts to violent and extremist causes to change their views.

Controversially, the new plan makes clear that people who fall under the influence of violent organisations will not automatically face prosecution.

Instead, the presumption should be that some such individuals would face therapy and counselling from community groups instead of criminal charges.

Documents being distributed to local councils explain that many people who get drawn into extremism have often suffered some sort of personal trauma or crisis that makes them vulnerable to exploitation.

“We do not want to put through the criminal justice system those who are vulnerable to, or are being drawn into, violent extremism unless they have clearly committed an offence,” a Home Office report says.

“It is vital that individuals and communities understand this and have the confidence to use the support structures that we shall be developing.”

Most of the new funding will be set aside for grants to community groups that challenge the messages of violent extremists should be supported.

The plan includes a suggestion that local councils should map their areas religion, surveying and recording the faiths and denominations of local residents.

New guidelines for councils say: “A deeper understanding of local communities should be developed to help inform and focus the programme of action - this may include mapping denominational backgrounds and demographic and socio-economic factors.”

The Home Office has told councils they must be prepared to ask police to vet anyone involved in projects that receive government anti-radicalisation funding.

If a group is found to be promoting violent extremism, local agencies and the police should consider disrupting or removing funding, and deny access to public facilities, the document added.

Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said: “A key element of our strategy aims to stop people getting involved in extremist violence.

“We are investing at local level to build resilient communities, which are equipped to confront violent extremism and support the most vulnerable individuals.”

Shadow home secretary David Davis said of today’s publication: “This is pointless when the Government is fuelling the problem it is seeking to solve with its draconian approach to 42 days.”

  1. Loonies! It is the Home Secretary and her colleagues in the Home Office behind this absurd idea who need therapy!!

  2. If BNP members/supporters are all considered ‘far right’, ‘racists’ and ‘extremists’ you’d think ‘ol Jazqyuiee Smith would be running therapy causes for us!

  4. “…have the confidence to support the support structures…” / “…councils should map their area’s religion…” / “…a deeper understanding of local communities must be developed…”
What a load of money-wasting, time-wasting vacuous nonsense! How do these policy makers feel when they go home of an evening? Like they’ve done a decent day’s work? Do they feel like they’ve earned their dinner? I’d LOVE to give them a proper job!

  5. Silly Smithy has also called for councils to map out the various religious areas to combat extremism. What she really means is that councils should map out the no-go areas, so that officials and police know exactly where the borders of the ghettos are.

The totalitarian, politically-correct Nu-Labour party increases the pressure to create division and hatred, so that there will be civil unrest and they can declare martial law and call in the EU Quick Reaction Force to occupy Britain.

They can’t use the British army, of course, because they are stretched to the limit fighting foreign wars. Does anyone still believe that all the things that have gone wrong in recent years are coincidence? That the increase in crime, violence, overpopulation, racial tensions and so on are because the government is incompetent?

Is it possible for a government to be that incredibly incompetent, or is more likely to be part of the plan to destroy British culture and hand us over to the EU Marxists? These sort of things have been happening throughout history, yet people have been lulled into believing they can no longer happen.

Ah, but there aren’t any no-go areas in Britain–NuLabour has told us so. Don’t you believe them…?–Ed.

  6. The best therapy is to remove Birthright Citizenship. We know alien religion, alien mind, innate hatred cannot be treated by nutty Labour political therapy. Intern these life-threatening Muslim psycho-suicide-martyrs until they can be repatriated to the land of their forebears.

  8. These people who are running our country are devoid of all philosophical insight and understanding of the nature of human beings. When they get around their cabinet table for a ‘briefing’ it must be like watching an episode of ‘Alice in Wonderland’. They should all be committed to a lunatic asylum where they can live out their days printing daily Marxist pamphlets and dreaming that they have, at last, achieved a ‘truly diverse world’.

  9. The worry is that they really think that this a good idea and that it will change the ways of radical Islam (is there any other?). They will sit round the Home Office patting each other on the back–Marxist thinkers still with the same ideas that they had when students; never had proper jobs and have no idea about the real cesspit of a country that they have created. They will not learn until a bomb explodes in Westminster and then they may just get it, that appeasement has never worked and never will.

    Probably blame the BNP though….

  10. “We are investing at local level to build resilient communities….” Yeah, right, we know you are dear–helping the foreigners to dig in even deeper, courtesy of our money. “Investing” indeed! Instead of imposing imams on Christian school children, it would be wiser (and better economic sense) to have Christian ministers speak to Muslim groups, explaining the Ten Commandments, which start with “Thou shalt not kill”, and explaining the two Commandments Christ taught as being the greatest, as they encompass all the others.

“Thou shalt love the lord they God with all thy heart.”

    then

    “Love your neighbour as yourself.”

    But don’t hold your breath….

  11. Bigglez, of course it’s not coincidence that the chaos on our streets has appeared within a relatively short period. No more ‘coincidence’ than all the like-minded politicians who have been elected all over the EU at the same time. It all came together because it was decided that it should.
The current state of our society is as a result of our politicians applying the Hegelian Dialectic.
This theory was adopted by Marx and Engels as the very basis of their ideology and its effects can be seen all over the world. No matter what the issue, the invisible dialectic aims to control both the conflict and the resolution of differences, and leads everyone involved into a new cycle of conflicts.
In a nutshell, it is–’create the problem, manipulate the response, come up with the solution’–the solution being exactly where you wanted to be before creating the problem - but the problem and response were necessary to get the solution accepted. ie: thesis, anti-thesis, synthesis.
You can read more about its practice and effects here:

    http://tinyurl.com/2y8q97

Orwell’s ‘DoubleThink/DoubleSpeak’ are good examples of the Hegelian Dialectic in action. It is possible–nay, acceptable–to believe in two or more opposing positions and treat each opposing thought as equal to the others. A good example of this is being tolerant of Islam at the same time as supporting gay rights–both of which are fundamentally opposed to each other. I call this the Exhaust-Pipe Syndrome…up which they disappear when asked to reconcile their support for both groups. The 42 days detention is also another example. They need a law to detain undesirables. So they create a problem with undesirables, they then manipulate the response–it’s all for our own good, you see–then they establish the solution–voila, the end of habeus corpus. They can isolate anyone who doesn’t agree with their message or the EU’s policies–a position they wanted to be in before they created the problem but, again, needed the problem to instigate it. The Hegelian Dialectic deliberately keeps society in a constant but confused state of flux. NuLabour are masters of it.

  19. If terrorists have planned & trained for years but are only given a slap on the wrist & a series of pep talks, [probably by other Muslims trying to appear stern-faced], if arrested before they actually blow somebody up then this initiative only allows the police a very small window of opportunity to gather evidence against them as Jacqui Smith has granted them a get-out-of-jail card. I can see the terrorists’ liberal lawyers running rings around Ms.Smith & her ‘bleeding hearts’. Then again this is probably the intent of these lib/lab/con saboteurs of the United Kingdom.

No, this is treason & a deliberate ploy to drive another nail into the coffin of the UK’s existence as a nation-state.

She was prosecuted over a letter published on her website that complained Muslims were “destroying our country by imposing their ways”.

I kept that notion to myself.
Nevertheless, Jacqui Spliff is actually supporting my belief that islam is a mental illness and, just like other mental afflictions, may be cured by pyschotherapy.
Ergo - this initiative by JS is an admission by her that all is not well within the multi-culti society they have forced upon us. In reality, it has failed and she knows it.
Good of her to recognise it - our politicians often do catch up but it’s a struggle for them and it’s often too late.

  24. It beggars belief, that a cretin like that can become a Home Office Minister! What planet is she on, or more to the point what illegal substance is she on? She and her cronies just don’t get it. These people have been radicalised since they were born, the vehicle is called Islam. She is not going to `cure` them with a few, very expensive, sessions on a couch with a shrink that is probably nuttier than she is (if that’s at all possible).

The only solution is to deport them their country of ethnic origin, where they can be amongst like minded people. Where they can practice their barbaric ways with the blessing of their own God and government.

Stop the insanity, please! Vote BNP.

  34. They just cannot accept facts that conflict with their ideology. In the Soviet Union poor thieves would be let go because it was there poverty that caused them to steal. Its the same thinking here. Cant possibly be Islam that causes the problem because that would conflict with their ideology, that all cultures are equal. So it must be something else. Poverty, discrimination or the classic ‘taking the Koran’s verses out of context’.

“people who get drawn into extremism have often suffered some sort of personal trauma or crisis that makes them vulnerable to exploitation.”

Christians, Buddhists and even Druids suffer trauma and personal crisis, so why do they not blow people up?

  47. Comparing a New Labour cabinet meeting to an episode of ‘Alice in Wonderland’, as The Welshman has here suggested, is an excellent idea, and one I’d like to extend to another work of Lewis Carroll’s, Through the Looking Glass (’Alice’ has been replaced by ‘the indigenous British Public’, and ‘the Queen’ by ‘Jacqui Smith’):

`I can’t believe that!’ said the indigenous British Public.

`Can’t you?’ Jacqui Smith said in a pitying tone. `Try again: draw a long breath, and shut your eyes.’

The indigenous British Public laughed. `There’s no use trying,’ they said `one can’t believe impossible things.’

`I daresay you haven’t had much practice,’ said Jacqui Smith. `When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.’

And here’s the six impossible things believed by New Labour’s cabinet before breakfast everyday:

    (1) there are no ‘muslim only’ areas in the UK;

    (2) multiculturalism is good for the UK;

    (3) unlimited immigration has an ‘enriching’ effect on all concerned, particularly the indigenous;

    (4) Islam wants to ‘peacefully coexist as equals in a pluralistic society’;

    (5) Common Purpose is a benign and enlightening organisation, with no links to Marxist think-tanks;

    (6) therapy will miraculously turn around ‘religious fanatics’, and make them less inclined to murder people in the name of their god and prophet.

Just like the White Queen in Through the Looking Glass, Jacqui Smith’s thinking is caused by ‘living backwards’ (induced, I suppose, by tending to the Left all the time!), but the indigenous British public, like Alice, live and think ‘forward’, and have a party that stands for them and with them.

Vote for forward thinking, vote BNP!

  49. Amazing…

I think SHE (Jaqui Smith) needs therapy.

There is shizophrenia in islam these days, torn between its medieval past and today’s world (As described in the book: La schizophrénie de l’islam. A fascinating read for those who can read French).

There is also shizophrenia among Eurabian politicians, who imagine that islam is something else entirely than what it really is.

It’s really totally amazing. Hitler spelt out in Mein Kampf what he was going to do, and no one took him seriously.

Muhammad spelt out in the quran what islam is, demonstrated it in his lifetime (sirah), and most of our brain-challenged dhimmi politicians don’t even understand it.

They’d have sent Freud and Jung to stop Hitler and the Wermacht…

Not for me thanks but no thanks. I’d rather have Patton any day.

Just hang on in there as best you can - with millions of others just like you - and the BNP dawn will precede a glorious tomorrow. What is happening today will never be forgotten but will recede from the almost unbearable present.

  55. So all this “therapy” to stop extremism is going to cost £12.5 million. And today I read that this is on top of £40 million that’s already been spent on these “enrichers” in recent times. That’s a total of £52.5 million, or about £1 from every living person in England, from pensioners at death’s door to new-born babies, UTTERLY WASTED on these uwanted, to try and make them reasonably civilised members of a decent, first-world society.

Could not this money have been spent on something worthwhile?

  56. I wonder which barm pot came up with that one? The first rule of fighting a war is to know your enemy. This government clearly does not, and has completely lost the plot. It is as a result of their feeble softly-softly approach to extremists that we are in the mess we are.

I know exactly how to deal with these people, but I cannot say how even on this site. (Ed you know what I am talking about! You have had to edit it out of my postings before.) But it has been done before, and proved to be extremely effective. No doubt people would be screaming about their human rights, but people who murder and maim, give up any rights they may have had.

J.Smith is a joke, and not worthy of the office she holds. Such loony ideas as this only go to show what a bunch of no-hopers we have supposedly running our country. God help us all!

  58. “..to map out the various religious areas to combat extremism..”

Ahh!! Now that sounds very familiar. You mean like the French already have with their maps of “Sensitive Zones”, “Zones Sensibles” aka “No-Go Areas”:

No, of course it’s just conspiracy theory..

The 751 No-Go Zones of France

They go by the euphemistic term Zones Urbaines Sensibles, or Sensitive Urban Zones, with the even more antiseptic acronym ZUS, and there are 751 of them as of last count. They are conveniently listed on one long webpage, complete with street demarcations and map delineations.

    http://i.ville.gouv.fr/divbib/doc/chercherZUS.htm

Here is the original page on Daniel Pipes weblog:

    http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2006/11/the-751-no-go-zones-of-france.html

What are they? Those places in France that the French state does not control. They range from two zones in the medieval town of Carcassone to twelve in the heavily Muslim town of Marseilles, with hardly a town in France lacking in its ZUS. The ZUS came into existence in late 1996 and according to a 2004 estimate, nearly 5 million people live in them.

A more precise name for these zones would be Dar al-Islam, the place where Muslims rule.

  59. The movie Hellraiser comes to mind. Now I’m not sure who the Cenobites are, whether it’s NuLabour specters like Jaqui Smith et al, or, whether it’s specters like Robert Mugabe who are the cenobites come to rip apart the sado masochistic, impulsive and violent, hell-bound and damned NuLabour sinners.
Which ever way round it is, there is no escaping the fact that it’s all very surreal and other dimensional!
I do have an active imagination, I know, but I can’t understand for the life of me how people can be under any illusion that we are not being governed by quite insane individuals. Another movie comes to mind also, The Beach: where a member of the commune gets bitten by a shark and screams in agony whilst suffering from his horrific injuries. The leader of the commune decides there is only one course of action: dump him in the woods where he can’t be heard, so the insanity of the leadership can continue unquestioned, and the illusion of perfection can continue on in a state of intoxicated denial.
Anyways, here we are in the woods!

  60. It’s absolutely amazing. For 1300 years the muslims have been trying to conquer the world through violence & terrorism & all this time all that was need was a little counseling & understanding to bring the violance to an end & for us all to live in harmony together. Man, how did that one get by use for all those years? Good job for Jacqui Smith & Nu-Labour ehhh!

The Jihadists in our country once again must be rubbing their hands in glee at this cowardly British establishment. They (the jihadis) know they are winning! They are biding there time, letting their numbers grow steadily, all the time raising funds and planning their War against the west, they KNOW the can win! We British dont have many years left before this REALLY gets out of hand. ONLY THE BNP HAVE THE ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM!

  65. I think that I’ve heard of such a thing as a vote of no confidence in the government, but seeing as every MP in the Houses of Parliament seems to be totally infected by the complete lunacy of political correctness, common purpose (maybe common in a mental home) and a great desire to hand control of our country over to foreign nations, is there such a thing as a vote of no confidence in the entire Houses of Parliament and its totally mad inhabitants?

    Posted by MC SE9 | June 3, 2008, 9:30 pm
  66. Without going into a long discourse on the structures which comprise the human brain and their respective functions, it will suffice to say that a sub-species which has virtually no pre-frontal lobe function and, hence, no compassion or any other humane proclivity must fall back on the that part of the brain which we have in common with reptiles and which controls all the normal animal functions including aggression.

Combine this with an particularly low average level of intelligence which precludes scientific, technological, artistic or any other creative endeavour and you have a people who, perforce, must rely for their survival on robbery, conquest and the enslavement of others. No amount of therapy will “cure” this.

I don’t for one moment think that Ms Spliff really believes in the efficacy of this latest piece of Marxist nonsense. It is simply another illustration of the fact that Nulabour are constantly thinking of new ways to deceive us into believing that they’re doing something to ameliorate the immense destruction resulting from policies which they have imposed deliberately to produce that effect. (Hegelian Dialectic - Ed))

This one, however, is so absurd that either it is founded on the belief that every indigenous British person is a gullible, credulous imbecile or it is proof that they are running out of such ideas and are becoming desperate in the face of the ever-increasing public support for the BNP, a party which has no need to resort to deception but relies entirely on being scrupulously honest and truthful and is now becoming widely recognised as such.

  68. suggest that the funding should come from a special tax on Muslims; it is after all from the ranks of their community that these poor deluded wretches come from. Perhaps the idea of a tax to pay for the other Muslim related costs, e.g. anti terrorist measures, airport security, additional costs of education and the NHS should be considered? It would certainly concentrate the minds of the Muslim community and it has a parallel in Islamic countries where non-Muslims had to pay additional taxes-Dhimmitude.

  69. I think we should be scared. This is obviously an initiative that will be redirected at the BNP, along with the 42-day detention, when the EU takes over. Remember how dissidents were put in mental institutions in the USSR? Former attorney general lord Goldsmith is against the extended detention because, he says, it sends a message to Muslims “that we are down on them” ie coded message to Muslims that it’s not directed at them but at another. They don’t really care about Muslim extremism at all. They just act as if it’s a figment of the BNP’s imagination. And recall that there is hard as well as soft therapy.

I don’t trust the government one bit. They may pretend to be loopy but they know what they’re doing. This is another of those shock tactics to see how the people will react. If it’s all put down to lunacy, they’ll proceed in tiny incremental steps to make sure everyone gets used to the idea. They’re preparing the ground. Already people are putting up with ridiculous sentences applied to horrific crimes and they think they can just go on tightening the thumbscrews and, to an extent, with justification. We are letting them get away with it.

If you thought that no-go areas could only happen in Europe, take a look at this:

“Manhattan - Brooklyn - Enemy Territory
We are witnessing the rapid takeover of American cities by Islamic extremists intent on marginalising the Judeo-Christian heritage that has guided our nation for hundreds of years.

In major U.S. cities Islam has already achieved de-facto “Super-citizen” status, and enjoys unheard of exemptions from the laws that govern the non-Moslem population (i.e. Polygamy, Female Mutilation, Forced Marriage, etc.).

If you care about the future of our children and indeed, our Republic, please pass this article on to as many people as possible.”

  71. When I first read this report in the Telegraph, I thought to myself that it is no more mad than banning cigarette branding and design-differentiation on the packets, and ceasing to display them at tobacconist counters.
But the scale is different, that’s all. Because smokers wont react by trying to blow up an aeroplane.
There are “moderate” Muslims. Just as there are moderate Christians. Most Muslims are no more religious as such than most of us; they go to the Mosque on Friday, but its a community thing, really. Most of them would like to be left quietly alone to make a bit of money and worry about their families, just like us.
However, just as most Brits are too apathetic to speak up, so most Muslims are too apathetic to speak up against their mad imams; native Brits are for the most part afraid of social rejection if they support the BNP (though this is changing fast); most Muslims are afraid of social rejection if they speak up against the Islamic extremists.
I often find myself thinking that some of the posts on this page are merely ill-considered rants from non-members; they’re of no benefit to the Party, and thus of no benefit to the British people.

  75. This idea is not something J.Smith has made up in a drug-induced state but is taken from Saudi Arabia - where it was used from about 2004 to ‘wean those on the lower rungs of jihadism off extremism and back to normality’. These are extremists who have been imprisoned for owning DVDs or visiting islamist websites only, and for those selected the policy is considered to have had an 80%-90% success rate. The individuals selected under the programme are ‘monitored by the secret police and informers’, given help getting jobs and encouraged to marry and start a family.
‘Saudi sceptics argue that a few more public beheadings of such people would achieve the same results. What this programme does show, however, is that Al Qaeda is ideologically vulnerable…its momentum can be checked’.

It is significant that this programme can be effective in a country where active jihadists face the death penalty, and large numbers of foreign operatives are not welcomed, given housing and cash benefits by the government and allowed to operate freely - as is the case under J.Smith and the rest of the mad hatter’s tea party. Saudi Arabia is also staunch in defending its own culture and religion, does not tolerate interference with and contempt toward its cultural institutions and way of life, and is not committing national suicide through misguided policies of political correctness, human rights and multi-culturalism.

So, I would say we should welcome Ms Smith’s proposal when she re-introduces the death penalty and stops all immigration and asylum from muslim countries. Asylum seekers from such countries can, of course, seek asylum in one of the many islamic states.

At present in Britain for every terrorist caught, another dozen are given asylum. Those who are imprisoned are allowed access to the internet in jail and can operate freely converting others, including petty criminals inside.

All above quotes are from the excellent Blood & Rage - A Cultural History of Terrorism, by Michael Burleigh.
A final passage from Mr Burleigh’s is worth quoting:
‘Since Islamist terrorism is a deviant outgrowth of a religion, much attention needs to be paid to the terms on which that religion is permitted to function in non-Muslim societies…the British government should flatly prohibit current plans to build a vast mosque in east London, until such time as Churches are allowed to operate in all Muslim countries without fear of persecution…Allowing Wahhabism to grow in our societies just because of lucrative aircraft contracts is an outrage’.

Terrorism is the most cowardly, violent, unreasoned way to kill innocent civilians that cannot help the terrorists demands even if they wanted to. Quite simply in my opinion the majority of Muslims try to defend what is ultimately defenceless. Murder.

The same tactic will certainly be deployed for halting Islamic terrorism with every Islamic group - extremist or not - being given billions of pounds either by the government or the EU.

“This political temerity, and many of our current problems, can be traced back to the Lawrence Report in 1999, in which the Metropolitan Police was deemed institutionally racist. Since then, the security forces and the Government have been paranoid about their treatment of all minorities, especially Muslims. There has never been a sensible middle ground where everyone, no matter what colour or creed, is treated fairly. ”

  88. @ Lickyalips

Your link makes the point that the “extremism” referred to is not directly connected by the government to Islam. “A casual reader, unaware of the history of this issue, might imagine that the threat was everywhere present”, says the Telegraph. The government simply talks about “extremists” - and remember that the BNP has often been referred to as “extremist” (among other things). The article mentions an “apparent unwillingness to acknowledge precisely where the problem lies”. The government assumes that everyone will jump to the conclusion that they mean Muslim extremists and that’s what we’ve done, but hang on, isn’t that a bit premature, given what we know about their ambivalent attitude to Islam and Islamophobia? Ergo, it could very well be directed at dissidents as well, given their warped mindset. Sorry to keep underscoring this deliberate vagueness on the part of the government, but I smell a trap. Islam is not the only entity capable of using Taqiyyah. We could all end up being sent on Common Purpose courses for anti-anti-British anger management.

  93. paganpete, thanks for the link to ‘Searchlight’. It’s hard to make sense of their rubbish, but note “In Keighley the local TUC and Bradford anti-fascists confronted BNP lies over grooming, where others had ignored what was going on, while simultaneously assisting local community groups through good old fashioned community development work.” Another article mentions ‘faith groups’ - I think this is partly a reference to churches, who of course are notoriously cowardly (I noticed Blackburn Cathedral has an Anne Frank display - though of course nothing on race murders in the UK, somewhat more topical). The TUC reference mentions unions and I suspect these must be coming under pressure as more people decide not to fund dubious political movements (including denial of grooming) out of their subscriptions. (Remember the NUT scandal where members weren’t told it was optional?).

However may I make an important point which I think nobody has noticed. It’s possible that, as rationalist criticism gets applied to ‘Jews’, such as in Searchlight, it will get widely known that modern so-called Jews aren’t in fact ethnic Jews at all. This means the traditional Muslim view of them as pigs and apes might no longer apply. So conceivably there could be a situation where ‘Jews’ control the US government and media, in alliance with Muslim thugs who’d provide the numbers for violence. Just a thought.

  98. Askari - and Ed.!
While I would not dismiss the notion of the “moderate” Muslim out of hand, both of you should be aware of my wife’s experience at her place of work on the morning when the WTC twin towers went down.
She works in Bradford in a wholesale green produce market where there are 66 traders, only four of them White, the other 62 being Muslim.

On 9/11, the market was brought to a halt by the wildly celebrating Muslim traders themselves, their salesmen and their porters. No further trading was possible that morning after the news of the atrocity broke.

A young man whom she has known since childhood reported that his workplace too, was brought to halt by the almost riotous Coke-can-kicking, wildly cheering celebrations of the Muslim workers.

    Where were the “moderate” Muslims
on those two workplaces on that day?

Finally, my post under this article at 10.26 p.m. last night is neither ill-considered nor a rant. It is based in part on my own knowledge of human cerebral anatomy and function together with that of thermal imaging technology. There is also the small matter of 1,300 years of uninterrupted warfare against all
    non-Muslim, including Western. civlisations

I do not dismiss out of hand the possibility of Muslims who choose to ignore those 164 verses of the Koran which command the faithful to attack, forcibly convert, enslave or kill all non-Muslims and, instead, to get on peaceably with their lives, just as there are Christians, who, apart from a few so-called fundamentalists, do
not subscribe to those parts of the Old Testament which insist on the death penalty for just about every trivial infraction of the rules laid down by the Temple elite of the day.

It’s just that I see no evidence to
suggest that the “moderate” Muslims have ever had the least restraining influence, at any point in the last 1,300 years,
on the excesses of of the Caliphate’s would-be conquerors of the world. Probably because they are too few in number to make any difference, just as those Germans who disapproved of the Nazis had to do so very quietly if they were to survive that terrifying era.

  101. THE MYTH OF MODERATE ISLAM

“The funeral of British suicide bomber Shehzad Tanweer was held in absentia in his family’s ancestral village, near Lahore, Pakistan. Thousands of people attended, as they did again the following day when a qul ceremony was held for Tanweer. During qul, the Koran is recited to speed the deceased’s journey to paradise, though in Tanweer’s case this was hardly necessary. Being a shahid (martyr), he is deemed to have gone straight to paradise. The 22-year-old from Leeds, whose bomb at Aldgate station killed seven people, was hailed by the crowd as ‘a hero of Islam’.

Some in Britain cannot conceive that a suicide bomber could be a hero of Islam. Since 7/7 many have made statements to attempt to explain what seems to them a contradiction in terms. Since the violence cannot be denied, their only course is to argue that the connection with Islam is invalid. The deputy assistant commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, Brian Paddick, said that ‘Islam and terrorists are two words that do not go together.’ His boss, the Commissioner Sir Ian Blair, asserted that there is nothing wrong with being a fundamentalist Muslim.

On 8 July the London-based Muslim Weekly unblushingly published a lengthy opinion article by Abid Ullah Jan entitled ‘Islam, Faith and Power’. The gist of the article is that Muslims should strive to gain political and military power over non-Muslims, that warfare is obligatory for all Muslims, and that the Islamic state, Islam and Sharia (Islamic law) should be established throughout the world. All is supported with quotations from the Koran. It concludes with a veiled threat to Britain. The bombings the previous day were a perfect illustration of what Jan was advocating, and the editor evidently felt no need to withdraw the article or to apologise for it. His newspaper is widely read and distributed across the UK. ”

  102. Millions to be spent on therapy for murderous savages, yet English people are denied cancer treatment and persecuted by NuLabour cockroaches if they try to obtain it privately.

“She had been receiving state-funded treatment, including chemotherapy, but could not obtain the life-prolonging drug Cetuximab on the NHS. She therefore paid £11,000 for it privately, and her husband credits this drug with Mrs Boyle’s three extra months with her three sons and four grandchildren.

But the decision to purchase this drug privately, notwithstanding that there was no alternative means of obtaining it, caused the NHS to withdraw the treatment she was receiving. In fact, the O’Boyles originally asked the NHS to provide the drug and offered to pay the NHS whatever it cost them to buy it, but this was refused. Her local health trust then compounded her stress by forcing her to pay for the care she had previously been receiving courtesy of all those taxes she had paid throughout her life.

Mrs O’Boyle is believed to be the first person to die after being denied free care because of the ‘co-payment’ prohibition, where a patient desires to top-up treatment by paying privately for extra drugs. It appears that ‘top-up’ fees, while demanded by law in the state’s provision of education, are prohibited by law in the state’s provision of health. A patient may either have treatment under the NHS or privately, but not both in parallel.

The ‘co-payment’ option was blocked by Health Secretary Alan Johnson because he claimed ‘it would create a two-tier Health Service’.”

  103. Now just hold on there a mo: Bridgette Bardot has been found guilty of a RACE HATE CRIME for criticising muslims for the methods that they use in order to kill the animals that they are going to eat (slitting their throats without stunning them first). Now, correct me if I’m wrong but I was under the impression that the muslim faith was a RELIGION and NOT a RACE. Now then, if as it appears the EU courts have decided that the muslim faith is a race as opposed to a religion then it goes without saying that this should hold true for ALL other religions and that to criticise ANY other religion is now a race hate crime. Or is it just the muslim faith that has the privilege of being a completely seperate race?

  104. Yet more do-goody utter lunacy from the muslim vote craving brainwashing “we know what’s best for you all” EU PC crazed muppets at the helm of us!
Last week another little spaceship was landed on Mars. Most days i have trouble tryna convince myself i’m not living there!

  105. @ englandforever

NuLabour tried exactly the same race-hate trick on Nick Griffin for describing Islam as a ‘wicked vicious faith’. Fortunately, unlike France we still have trial by jury rather than trial by bureaucrat in England (but how much longer?), so he was acquitted.

  106. In response to Muslim terrorist threats following Miss Bardot’s comments, the French government has introduced a four-level security alert system.

The levels are, in order of mildest to most severe threats:

    (1) APPEASE
    (2) SURRENDER
    (3) GROVEL
    (4) COLLABORATE

I missed that one. You didn’t make it up, perchance? Nah, you wouldn’t do that! - Ed.

  108. Bloody marvellous.Yet another twelve and a half million quid totally wasted on “THEM”. It’s all just whistling in the dark by this hopeless bunch of pillocks in Westminster. They simply have not got a clue about what to do next. Every time a problem gets too difficult or frightening for them, they throw more and more of the taxpayers money at it. They are not fit to run a corner shop, but will never admit to being wrong. The fact that this utterly stupid woman ever got elected, never mind becoming a cabinet minister speaks volumes for the level of intelligence amongst our so called leaders.Surely, even the looney lefties must be squirming with embarassment at this latest act of lunacy. OH!! I DON’T KNOW THOUGH!!!!

  109. What do you expect of Jacqui Spliff? If ever proof was needed that soft drugs can addle the brain, here it is.
No doubt the £12.5 million will soon inflate in line with the Tessa Jowell Olympic formula. Not only that, we can be assured that such vast sums will be squandered in outreach co-ordinators, diversity awareness officers, stress counsellors, new breeds of ‘consultants’ all fresh from the slums of the sub-continent.

  110. Here are some moderate Islamists in London 2 years ago. They must be moderates as I don’t recall them all being arrested and deported for inciting terror and hatred!!!

  111. I would draw your attention to yesterdays Times newspaper in which a cartoon of the Pope is shown holding a packet of Durex.
Why, I am asking, aren’t all you Catholics rioting in the streets and asking for the cartoonist to be killed and bombing embassies at this insult? If the Muslims get offended by a cartoon why not you?
Is it that only Muslims need therapy. Go on Catholics do it, don’t let the side down.

    Posted by Brysea | June 5, 2008, 10:40 am
  112. @ straightdownthemiddle

The Moderate Muslim in the video says “May they bomb Denmark so that we may invade their country and take their wives for booty.”

Please note that this should be taken in context, and that he is in fact only advocating moderate bombing and moderate rape and pillage.

  114. I feel a Purge coming on, no nothing to do with that Delicious Thai Curry I had last week.

We are at present working discreetly, but with all our might, to wrest this mysterious force called sovereignty out of the clutches of the local national states of the world. And all the time we are denying with our lips what we are doing with our hands.

    Arnold Toynbee.

Did you read recently Gorbachev saying we should not forget that Stalin Murdered Millions.

  115. I personally think terrorists of all colours, religions, shapes and sizes should get the Chair. Anyone who endangers innocents and causes as much destruction as a terrorist can deserves no more, no less, than that.

  117. @Paganpete

I think that article highlights the strengths of the BNP, and highlights why, and rightly so, people are looking to the BNP as a viable, efficient vote to make a positive impact for their community.

I thought, as a BNP voter, it was a good read!

  122. Extreme islamists not killing innocent people is like a great white shark not eating seals, its just what they do…the same applies to muslim extremists! What this country needs, is a party that’ll sort this mess out, & we all know who that is ladies & gentlemen!

    Posted by SimonGB | July 8, 2008, 3:10 pm
  123. Once again it seems the answer to all the problems concerning the whole islamic question is to employ more “PC” p***s to just talk about things with a view to meeting them halfway. Has anyone thought that by doing this each time (ie: halfway, then halfway again etc…) eventually we will arrive at a point at which we will be concession by concession arriving at the destination that these people are aiming for? I believe that when you are in Rome you do as the Romans do. If the culture and way of life is not to their taste, they could always move to a part of the world more suited to their narrow-minded ways of existence.

  124. If you are a minority in this Country, it doesnt matter what you do wrong its always an “illness” that needs therapy and never a wrong-doing. To say a minority can commit a crime in Britain is “racist”, its crazy!
