Controversial Labour MP duo IS appreciated - by the Labour Group Leader on their local council!

In this cold cynical world it is truly heartwarming to know that Labour’s Parliamentary man and wife team for the London Borough of Hounslow have at least one appreciative supporter – even if that happens to be the Labour Group Leader on the local council!

We quote from the letters section of the Hounslow Borough Chronicle.

I am writing this letter with regards to the stories about Ann and Alan Keen MPs’Additional Cost Allowance that appeared in the press recently.

I have known Alan and Ann for many years. Alan has been the MP for Feltham and Heston for nearly 16 years and throughout that time he has worked tirelessly to help people in his constituency.

I believe the papers’ representations of them to be completely false.

Ann and Alan have broken no rules and have done nothing wrong.

The facts and figures which are being bandied about are being distorted.

Alan is wholly committed to doing his very best for his constituents and this is something that should be focused on.

The Labour Party is very proud of all the work Alan has done over the past 16 years and they are very happy that Alan and Ann are the MPs representing the people of Hounslow.

I hope the people of Hounslow will not believe these false representations and that they will not forget the important role Alan has played in the Heathrow anti-expansion campaign and the many other important issues he has campaigned for in the constituency.

CLLR JAGDISH SHARMA Labour Group Leader.

Incidentally, the perceived lack of coverage of the Keens and their ACA claiming in the Hounslow Borough Chronicle newspaper, may be due, we suspect, to this organ being owned by the Labour supporting Trinity Mirror Group!

More on the Keens here .

And: here .

And: here .

As an aside many London members are puzzled by Labour MP John “Two Homes” Cruddas – who is perceived these days not to be as vocal as he formerly was in campaigning against the BNP. Some suggest that this may be due to justified media interest in the one hundred thousand pounds plus claimed in Parliamentary ACA by this socialist in respect of his second (or is it third?) London home! This being, some believe, an unpalatable fact that probably would not go down too well amongst working class voters in his Dagenham constituency – where housing provision and rents are a real issue! In addition, many Dagenham voters would be interested to know why their MP’s kids are educated “out-of-borough” and do not, we understand, attend the same Labour provided schools as other Dagenham pupils!

Labour – a “Party of the People” – we think not!

  1. The British National Party did very well in the London Borough of Hounslow this May, achieving over 10% in 5 of the 20 council wards, and over 5% in 10 of them (figures from the Londonwide top-up list vote).

Hounslow has the potential to be a very good area for us in the future…

  2. With that amount of money on each others heads. I expect they will both be hiring food tasters now on government expenses. Hope they sleep well at night.

  3. You can bet your life the Keen`s are appreciated by Mr Sharma and the rest of his gravy train passengers. That still won`t prevent New Liebor getting deservedly routed at the general election, although I suspect they won`t do too badly in Mr Sharma`s ethnic boroughs.

  4. Mr and Mrs Expenses’ behaviour may seem all right in Mr Jagdish Sharma’s neck of the woods, but most British people find it heinous to a degree. Another area of non-overlap in native and non-native moral perceptions?

I foresee that, at some point, it will become non-PC to direct moral stigma at villains. In Anne Applebaum’s history of the Gulag she says that Lenin “felt ambivalent about the gaoling and punishment of traditional criminals - thieves, pickpockets, murderers - whom he perceived as potential allies. In his view, the basic cause of ’social excess’ (meaning crime) was ‘the exploitation of the masses’ …. no special punishments were therefore necessary to deter criminals … On the other hand, Lenin…also reckoned that the creation of the Soviet state would create a new kind of criminal: the ‘class enemy’” who “required harsher punishment than would an ordinary murderer or thief”. Ring any bells?

Now we can put the 42-day detention period, manslaughter sentences for racist murders and therapy for Muslim extremists into their true context. Let’s pre-empt David Davis and have a thorough-going debate on crime and punishment on this site some time soon to sort out and expose the ruling authorities’ template for law and order and to put forward the BNP’s beliefs on the subject.

  7. The leader of the council one Jadish Sharma. It suprises me that someone with such an obvious Anglo Saxon name lending support to two dodgy charactors, as these seem to be.

  8. The Keens’ expenses fiddles pale into insignificance when you read how much the grubbers are taking from us over in the LaLaLand that is Brussels:

    http://tinyurl.com/5ssvny

“…Each MEP can pocket nearly £360,000 - yes, £360,000 - in pay, perks and pensions annually and not have to account for a single penny…”

  10. Brussels is the yellow brick road of the corrupt politician. Gold all the way and we pay. In return, mass immigration and the wonders of multiculturalism.

  12. Now that the Irish people have bought us some time and expressed what all Europeans feel, by using their opportunity to put into practice that which has been criminally denied to the rest of Europe, I feel a little more confident in hoping to see the Keens and every other traitor in that House of Liars, Buggers and Thieves working out on the roads, railways and building sites in their orange boiler suits, wielding their picks and shovels and getting their a***s kicked if they down tools.

Naturally, I would expect Councillor Jam-dish Marmalade to
be put on board a freighter, to work his one-way passage as an oiler in the engine room, back to
    his ancestral homeland.

  13. @ Noel

Had to laugh at that one. Jam-dish Marmalade - right up there with Mo Hamhead.

  14. Councillor Mr Local Sounding Briton may be happy with the expenses as he might want to jump on the “BANDWAGON”.

Many indiginous Britons are not happy with the “Expenses” on offer to the unscrupulous, but an ever growing section of voters is not.

    Could they support the BNP?

    The numbers make interesting reading!
