Absolutely agree with you BlackBuck. And in support of what you say I would further add that the IRA bombing “campaign” was not about mass casualty terrorism; warnings were generally given though in the case of the Birmingham bombings they were botched. It was mostly aimed at the destruction of property and the disruption of commercial life - of which the best example was the bombing of the City of London. Undoubtedly, with the means at their disposal, the IRA could have inflicted many thousands of civilian casualties had they chosen to do so.

The contrast with Islamists could not be more stark for their avowed aim is mass casualty terrorism, that is their modus operandi. As you say, Blackbuck, there can be no agreement with these people - they must leave our shores. It always annoys me when lefties try to down play Islamic terorism by saying the IRA were much more of a threat, neither in numbers nor in the insane viciousness of Islamism is this remotely true. Plymouth is just down the road to where I live. Even then I didn’t realise that the Jihadists had reached this far west. It came as a shock when the Exeter bomber is found to have links to radicals in Plymouth.

On the other hand there is too much complacency and this could wake the indegenous population up which is no bad thing at minimum cost to public safety.

yesterday, I was in the local supermarket looking at the headlines in the papers. A well dressed, woman couldn’t contain herself; her anger and indignation at the situation spilled out and we stood there having a conversation for at least 20 minutes on the Islamification of Britain.

There was a lot of anger there and I wouldn’t mind betting that the situation with Britain today is just as much about Islam as it is about the 10p tax fiasco. That’s why the voters are abandoning NuLabour they have seen the light.

It comes across on TV interviews. you can feel it there under the surface but they are reticent to actually name Islam and Islamification as one of the main issues.

It would be interesting if some of those BNP canvassers could confirm how high Islamification is on the disgruntlement list with voters.

“Armed police have detained two men in an operation linked to an explosion in a restaurant in Exeter. Officers targeted the men at a cafe in the Old Town Street area of Plymouth. One man was arrested and the other is described as “helping police”.

The Exeter bomb was especially designed to cause agonising injuries to those it didn’t kill outright.

“The BBC’s Daniel Sandford said the devices contained nails, drain cleaner, kerosene, an organic oil and aluminium foil.”

The nails would tear the flesh open and the oil would produce a napalm type of burn, with the drain cleaner (caustic soda) continuing to produce chemical burns after the oil was extinguished. The aluminium foil would produce explosive hydrogen in contact with the drain cleaner, and then would itself ignite, peppering its victims with white hot burning globules of molten aluminium.
