State of the Nation: Surrealism in Slough?

Do Roma gypsies begging from Pakistani Muslims in a supposedly (but former) English town - not strike you as ever so slightly surreal? It does us!

From today’s Slough Observer:-

MUSLIM worshippers say they are being harassed by beggars who loiter outside a mosque and cause nuisance.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested outside Stoke Poges Lane Mosque for begging on Thursday last week.

She is one of around five women who regularly congregate outside the mosque – especially during Friday prayers – to target some of the 3,000 worshippers.

The problem has worsened over the past year where beggars, who flock to the four entrance of the mosque in Stoke Poges Lane, Slough, encourage their children as young as five to ask for money.

Worshipper Saqib Moghul, 26, said: “It is a nuisance because they loiter outside the mosque when all I want to do is focus on my prayers.

“They purposely bring their children to make us feel really guilty if we don’t give them money. I haven’t given them money because I give to charity through the proper channels.”

Mohammed Ayub, trustee at the mosque, said: “It is very hard because worshippers say they feel harassed and under pressure to give them money all the time.

“The beggars are here most days, but especially on Fridays when they know we have more people here.

“They always bring their children to tug at everyone’s heart strings and that is not fair.

“I challenged them and they just pretended they couldn’t speak English, and put their hands on their tummy to say they want money for food.

“My belief is that people in this country are well looked after and there is no need for them to beg in such a way.”

Mr Ayub is now calling for more police action. He said: “I thought once the police had issued the caution they wouldn’t come back again.

“But to my disbelief they still beg. We need more police action. I would like it if police officers would patrol this area for at least an hour – especially during Friday prayers.”

  1. Aaaaaawwwww, so that’s harassment eh? In that case, bring on the beggars. They want to try putting themselves in the same position as our true indigenous population if they want to know what harassment is. I wonder what nationality these beggars are?

  2. So now our Muslim friends may have an inkling of what it’s like to be intensely irritated by obnoxious, alien nuisances. Interesting to see that they’re not too happy when the boot’s on the other foot. Might this experience inspire a flash of genuine self-criticism? Or what does it take to penetrate a thick, dark-age ego?

  3. Good night evening Ed, and good evening night Ed.

At present we have a government that practically bows down to every wish/demand that our Muslim friends make and it is likely to be succeeded by a Conservative government who will do much of the same. So, for the moment, Muslims retaliate at either the government or us. It will be a slightly different kettle of fish assuming the EU takes control, unless its completely Muslim run by then.

It won’t be a different kettle of fish - the EU has control and they are all following the same ‘Common Purpose’ agenda. Ed

  4. If they think being harassed outside a mosque is a nuisance, they’ve seen nothing yet. Here in a sleepy village in rural Norfolk, we frequently have non-English speaking, physically imposing, 20-something male beggars go door-to-door. While I’m perfectly confident enough to instruct them to leave by means of hand gestures, I suspect the various elderly ladies and gentleman who live alone nearby are much more intimidated.

  6. The plot thickens.
On top of the “believers” getting a taste of the medicine they’ve been dishing out to us whiteys for the last 40 years, and the possibility that Poles’ wages may be about to be undercut by Romanians, comes this little gem: my wife, who works in a local authority recycling plant, which employs East European agency workers, tells me that the biggest current threat to the Polish workers comes from other Poles, who will try to pinch their fellow countrymens’ jobs by offering to do them for less money!

What delightful people we have in our diverse, colourful, vibrant multi-ethnic, multicultural Utopia.

  7. Have you ever in your lives heard of a priest in a Church calling the Police to a beggar, I don’t think so.
How long ago were the Imams begging for food and a safe haven from their rancid Islamic states, as they fled their Hell-Hole Culture. Our Governments welcomed THEM with open arms. Sickening isn’t it!

  8. I’m going slightly mad. It finally happened, IT FINALLY HAPPENED. It is impossible to import 20 totally different, incompatible cultures and expect them to get along. Now if the Romas were in their country insisting on their rights to a decent life in their country, and likewise Muslims in Islamic countries were using their vast oil wealth to look after their fellow countrymen and women, they wouldn’t have these problems, with Britain stuck in the politically correct middle with no voice. and now add this into the equation.

  9. A spectacular display of double standards here by the Muslims. If only it could be translated into pyrotechnics it would by far outstrip the Guy Fawkes celebrations on Blackheath.

  10. By the way, off subject for a sec, I’ve seen a few very good long and short poems about Britain and our predicament since I’ve been reading the news on the BNP website. What about printing a book of them, with their writers’ names and a description of the news article they were used with. A bit like a Giles book.

  11. MC SE9. funny you should say that - I’m setting up a website with a comic book layout, using a British sense of humour. I am in the middle of doing the cartoon characters - Richard, Simon and Uncle Nick and all our chums, Mr Phillips, Boris and Ken, et al.

I will keep you all posted to the first comic strip.

  12. One has to laugh (’cause I refuse to break down and cry for my country) What delicious irony:- unwanted parasitic aliens being harrassed by other groups of unwanted parasitic aliens. When I was a young man in London in the Seventies, there were notoriously groups of Roma women with suckling babies, who begged on the Underground, up and down the carriages. I think Thatcher cleaned them out. There were also the so-called Traveller women (always late middle aged and intimidating), who would thrust wilted sprigs of “lucky heather” at you, pursuing you for a hundred yards if you so much as showed any weakness for a moment.
Indigenous begging in Britain is nothing new; these days, you see sturdy beggars congregating outside the so-called Job Centres, with their cans of Tennants and their fags (I smoke too), but this story takes the cake.

  14. We have sadly made a rod for our own backs here. Allowing ourselves to become the dustbin of the world, unfortunately means all the s**t ends up here. We dont want either the muslims or roma gypsies here but sadly until we get a decent BNP government in power nothing is ever going to change. Simply closing our borders and deporting all illegal immigrants would help.We can then start to deal with the internal problems within the country. If we stop pandering to all these foreigners they would`nt want to be here. Multiculturalism sucks Patriotism rules,we want our country back before its to late. Bring on the BNP…..

  15. Perhaps a little off-topic here. No doubt some of your readers would have read that YET ANOTHER anglican clergyman in the East End of London has been attacked on his own grounds by asian muslim youths. The arrogant, self-righteous, self-centred hypocritical double-standards of the practitioners of the “marvellous religion of peace” is yet again evident. On the one hand no one, least of all an inferior “foreign” infidel beggar (yes, they WERE criticising the beggars for being “foreign” - what an incredible nerve!!!) may dare to disturb these paragons of virtue anywhere near their places of worship (if that’s what they call them), yet they apparently have the right to invade other peoples’ places of worship and viciously physically abuse a priest without a public word of condemnation from their own elders, or imams, or whatever word they use to describe the officials of their motley setup. If these muslims are really trying to make themselves utterly detestable, they have already succeeded.

  16. Paracetamol does not cure AIDs. Most British voters are still swinging from Labour to Conservative, from Labour to Lib Dem, from Lib Dem to Labour, etc, etc, without understanding that unless the changes proposed by the BNP are implemented things are going to get a lot worse.

There is some demolition to be done before we can fix the foundations of Britain and none of the present mainstream parties has the guts to do what needs to be done.

  17. I live in close proximity to Slough…the town that once upon a time was a wonderful ,clean and vibrant shopping centre!
I am surprised by the mosque’s reaction to these beggars because I thought giving to the needy was one of the Pillars of Islam. On a Friday in particular, before they go into prayers it would give the visiting muslims a chance to incur their god’s favour surely! What an opportunity the mosque is missing to show their peaceful, loving religion to the people of Slough by accomadating these Roma who obviously need TLC!Perhaps the Iman needs to give a sermon on the bountiful, compassionate, merciful nature of Allah…or does that only apply to fellow muslims!!!!!!

  18. Hilarious isn’t it? Only in Britain. Obviously not so charitable as others! I was talking to a group of Poles last week, they say they are going back to Poland because they do not like it here. Why is that? I asked, “Too many *!*!!!* foreigners” came the reply! If it wasn’t so tragic it would be funny.

  20. Superb… a great example of the ”vibrant multi-cultural society” we have had forced upon us. This Muslim/Roma problem is a taste of worse things to come. The BNP’s quiet revolution will force many of our former live and let live liberals, to admit they were pathetically wrong. As usual though, things will get far worse, then the real revolution will get up and runing. The BNP leadership and it’s supporters, voters, funders and members, will reap the rewards of saying ”I told you so”. By then, many will be running for their lives, and the only safe place to run to, will be the BNP.

Nice one bertie bert. I can’t draw for toffee myself, but here’s a little snippet you might be able to work up something with. As we know Green stuff is all the rage now - but the third world invasion we are “hosting” doesn’t seem to be into recycling with a resultant increase in “rats, flies and maggots”. The globalist Green Party with their pro-immigration stance are incrediby gullible and naive, and completely stupid not to put too fine a point on it:

“Next came a brief contribution from Abdi and Kayse of The Somali Voice newspaper. They told us that Bristol’s Somali population was now about 20,000 and that rates of recycling were very low, in the region of 1%, since the whole notion of recycling was completely novel to them … The Bangladesh Womens’ Group then voiced their concerns the main one of which was that Bangladeshi families are great lovers of home cooking and thus produce lots of food waste. Consequently, they found the brown food waste bins provided by the council far too small. Another concern was the increase in rats, flies and maggots … Immediately after this came Liz Jones deputising for Asian Health and Social Care Services. She informed the meeting that South Asian families typically had between 5-7 residents per household and therefore produced abnormally high levels of waste and specific kinds of waste (e.g. large edible oil cans)……”

  22. Is this not racism by Asians against Romas? Whereas Christianity is an all-inclusive religion which insists that we look outside our comfort zone and attend to the needs of our “neighbours” in the pan-human community and even those of our enemies, Islam regards all non-Muslims as being totally outside the pale of their concerns and requires the Muslim to harrass and even, ultimately, to kill them as their existence is an insult to Allah.

Perhaps in examples like this, where indigenous Brits are not involved, we shall be able to find grounds to accuse races other than white of racism, so that the idea of racism as simply and solely a white crime becomes untenable. Let’s emphasise as much as possible that other creeds, ethnicities and skin colours are racist and discriminatory amongst themselves without any white input at all.

At the moment, the media hype has it that the BNP are the only “racists” in town. Of course, we know that our policies target not the immigrants themselves but rather those who allow them to immigrate here without restriction. However, the general public needs to be a little savvy to get past the media bearing of false witness - seems like they’re getting there though.

    Posted by SheriffofNottingham | May 11, 2008, 9:17 am
  23. Surely these muslims must be condemned as racists? And surely, the imams need to be arrested by the Police for their intolerance towards a racial minority? The media have also surely denounced these muslims for the vile fascists and racists they are?

And surely, all of the ignorant, bigoted muslim racists who have caused great offence to the poor roma minority are to be placed on corrective racial awareness courses to modify their unacceptable racist attitudes?

Oh wait aminute, silly me, that only applies to white people because everyone knows its only whites who are racists.

Yet more nauseating hypocrisy from the evil marxists destroying Great Britain.

You people who vote for the liblabcon: haven’t you had enough of this? If this continues what will it be like for your kids and their kids?

Stop the rot, support the BNP.

  24. The Roma still beg on the Tube, and often seem to congregate near the Natural History Museum exit from Kensington station. They still use young children to beg and carry babies who look to me as though they are drugged. They all seem to have several gold teeth as well, I’ve noticed.
The ‘traveller’ women with their heather are still going strong too, I saw a couple on Regents St yesterday.

I’m surprised to hear the police actually bothered to take any action against these beggars in Slough, I would have thought the muslims would have been told to enjoy the wonderful diversity of the experience.

  25. The irony of this situation in Slough may well raise a smile but ,in reality, there is absolutely nothing to smile about.

Every country that houses Roma gypsies in Eastern Europe is desperate to see the back of them.
Why do you think that is?. I am sure that the governments of those countries are looking on with bemused relief that our Lib/Lab/Con alliance here in good old Britain are welcoming them with open arms. Lets be clear, unless the BNP either get into power or gain far greater influence the influx of Roma gypsies and other immigrants will continue inexorably.

Our grandchildren will be asking us one question in years to come if we allow this situation to continue.
They will ask -why didn’t you do something at the time?”

Muslims do claim charity as one of the ‘pillars’ but as with everything else in that unholy pamphlet it is only for the brothers , thats Muslims. If the Roma begger would convert to Islam he would be helped up off the floor with a warm embrace and be given all the charity he needs. This is why the unholy pamphlet is so dangerous and evil it not only condones but encourages treating anyone that is not the same as you how you please, they basically have no rights.

  30. Here’s another piece of surrealism which is not directly connected to the matter in hand, but is a nonetheless a shining example of the lunacy now being pumped into our lives by the control-freak psychos of Common Purpose/the Eurofascist Union.

As BNP supporters will be aware, the fascists of the EU seek to subjugate the people of Britain by means of issuing regular diktats called ‘directives’, which are basically orders from Brussels telling us how we must do everything from playing bagpipes to speaking to our barmaid to farting in the correct manner; anything the corrupt little Hitlers happen to think up on any given day. (These ‘directives’ flow directly from Brussels and our ‘parliament’ is a complete irrelevance due to the wilful surrender of our national sovereignty since the process of national submission was started by one E.Heath.) They are an integral part in the ongoing war on our cultural heritage and independence. They are almost always completely absurd, with no practical aim apart from psychological dominance and forcing routine obedience even in the face of engineered, mind-******g hyper-bullsh**.

Musicians are of course among the prime targets in this anti-cultural war. Veiled threats have been made against the classical music community by the Islamic retards now infesting our universities and local government. These professors of Absolute Ignorance are of course the useful allies of the conspirators of the European Satanic Union, who use the means described above in order to undermine the concept of free artistic expression and to impose outrageous restriction and control over musical activities. This kind of interference is an organised and planned campaign which will escalate to even more nightmarish proportions unless it is stopped: in other words, until we extricate ourselves, completely, from the shackles of this IslamoMarxist dictatorship.

Musicians, and the rest of us, should understand that the way to deal with EU ‘directives’, is to completely ignore them. By that, I mean for example that orchestras should not require their members to wear earplugs during performances, or to be separated from each other by sonic screens, or to be made to wear devices on their persons which monitor the ‘noise levels’ they are producing. If a piece of music happens to be loud, then play that music just as loudly as you like, in accordance with the intentions of the composer. And when you’re done, you may consider sticking two fingers up to Brussels, and directing the Eurofascists to the nearest taxidermist. I’m sure the Valkyries will be happy to provide transport.

It is also rich for Muslims to be complaining about ‘begging’ when they have come over here to claim numerous benefits - does that not count as begging? They are getting the words scrounging and begging mixed up; they are one and the same as far as I am concerned.

  41. Regarding Muslims and charity: consider the major faith and British-based charities Christian Aid and Islamic Relief. Christian Aid raise money and distribute aid to people all over the world who are caught up in extreme poverty and humanitarian disasters, regardless of colour or creed. Indeed, more often than not it is non-Christians who are the recipients in their hour of need. Islamic Relief raise funds for Muslims suffering similar circumstances. Spot the difference?

There are only two Universalist Religions (which teach that ALL suffering beings must be helped and treated with compassion) - they are Buddhism and Christianity .

  43. All this is yet more proof that this dream of a “melting pot Utopia” is nothing but a nightmare.
Not only do Muslims find it impossible to integrate with other faiths and nationalities, but as is well known, they can’t even live with each other. The two opposing factions in their own faith, IE Sunni and Shia, are forever leaving each other little presents of HIGH EXPLOSIVE as a token of their love for Islam. Too bad if the odd “infidel” gets blown to bits as well.

The only charities I donate money to on a regular basis are the RSPCA and other animal charities.

As for Islamic Relief, Green Vista you are right. The money only goes to Islamic causes. As so should not appear on the television adverts when there are a list of charities asking for money, like at present it is for the people in Burma for example - there’s a massive chance the money will go to somewhere like Pakistan.
