BNP Chairman Nick Griffin addressed two meetings of members, supporters and guests last night in Cumbria. He spoke first in Carlisle and then, as part of his hectic schedule, in Workington.
The Party Chairman, rather than making a speech, held two, two hour sessions - fielding questions from the audience.
Last night’s Q & A session was totally unexpected and Nick answered hours of probing questions from the audiences.
Unlike the case with “spoon-fed” Establishment politicians, there were no “staged questions” or pre-warning, rather we witnessed a unique display of intellect, oratory, unarguable common sense and rock solid political policy.
In this age of spin and media manipulation, speech writers and shallow politicians, it’s even more impressive when you see the genuine article. A memorable night.

Hi Ed - will we be able to watch “Nick’s Question Time/s” ? It would serve to further ruffle the opposition, and boost morale amongst BNP supporters. His words of foresight and wisdom allways go down a treat - for me anyway.
Thanks - Andy

’spect so. - Ed.
Well done, Nick. Nice to see a straight-forward politician for a change.
Will this be on BNPtv at all?

’spect. - Ed.
off topic slightly, can someone explain where our members forum went?? not happy!!!

I can’t at the moment but I’m sure there’s an explanation. I’m just the cleaner. - Ed.PS see scroll at top of page.
Thank you BNP, for people like Nick Griffin, and for the ‘Land and People’ section.
I am always impressed with Nick’s depth of knowledge and his ability to produce facts on demand without the use of notes.
I have been present in a meeting where Nick has answered questions from anybody on anything and found it a refreshing change compared to mainstream politicians. The thing is when you speak only the truth which Nick does, it makes answering questions that bit easier. Well done and keep it up.
Nick spoke at the Newcastle meeting last night 14/5/08, then held a quick Q&A session afterwards, as expected from Nick an excellent speech & question session, also a good speech from Ken Booth, a good night was had by all. Many thanks to Ken and his team for the evenings events.
Well said JIM GREEN. I was bought up with maxim. If your going to be a liar you need a good memory. Most of todays politians put elephants to shame . Nick makes it look easy because as you said. The truth requires no mental somersaults. Mind you Nicks memory for stats is very good. The only real reason our great statesmen of today (Thats irony ed) decline to share a platform with BNP officals. Is because the scale of their ineptitude would be glaringly shown. All other excuses to not appear with BNP officals are lies.
In fact I would go so far as saying, most politians would struggle in a debate with 99% of BNP members.
Sorry guys, bit O/T but just read the latest on the Jimmy Mizen murder…… They will still not class this as a Racist Attack…..
Now I know his parents will not press on this issue and the police will not either unless they really have to….. But I thought it was classed as racist if anyone perceived it to be? …. Well isn’t it funny that the rest of the country feel it was a racist attack and thus qualifying it to be classed as “Racist”…..
But we all know it will never come to this, also what we should all be remonstrating about is what will innevitably a far too low a tariff on the sentancing…. Not that age should make a difference but this was a 16 year old kid, his life was taken without any thought or hesitation….. He could have easily lived till he was 70-80, thus shortening his life by 54-64 years … but will his killer be jailed for anything like that?
Why do you think that politicians stick to the party line? Because they have no individual thought. The spin doctors are given the questions and come up with a scripted answer. Therefore on a particular question mp’s from the same party in different interviews always trot out the same answer.
When the Clown appears on TV the questions are given in advance. If a question gets thrown in, he starts to splutter and gurn like he’s demented. No individual thought just parrots the party line.Pathetic really.
I have been to a meeting where Nick was speaking and he is indeed a breath of fresh air, No Lies, No Spin, No Dodging Questions or Answers and certainly none of the “Aren’t I great” routine you normally get from a “Politician” ….. I am being sarcastic when I say politicians for the other lot because let’s face it, they are not politicians, they are just greedy liars and are just part of an “Old Boys Club” and do not have any interest in the people they serve.
I hope that the poeple of this country will wake up to the fact that the BNP is the only party that is for “The People” because they are made up from the people they are meant to serve……….
Have been listening to John Humphreys v Bottler Brown this morning on Radio 4. It was hilarious.Talk about back pedaling, lies, more lies and downright blatant denial of the facts. This was a prime example of a lib/lab/con man.
Compared to NICK these are a bunch of amateurs.
May I suggest a slight change to Thlema H’s last line, thus:
… these are a bunch of professional liars and con artists.
How I would love to see Nick on Question Time.
As if any of this rotten miserable lot would have the courage to face him.
Here is a good bit of news following Nick Griffins vindication from the BBC Panorama Documentary about the grooming of young girls by our enrichers.
The Crown Prosecution Service and West Midlands Police are to publicly apologise and pay a six-figure sum for accusing a Channel 4 documentary exposing extremism in Britain’s mosques.
http://news.aol.co.uk/apology-for-mosque-documentary-slur/article/20080514191209990004
Now the police should be investigating the mosques and imams concerned in the documentary!!
Before we are further enriched.
It would be nice if they compensated Nick and Mark for their ordeal - Ed
That will never happen ED …… or the would have to admit that Nick and Mark were right all along…
And you know they will never do that, lets hope that all the truth that is beginning to come out will show the general public that we are the party to trust……
It’s also another reason why they want to scrap jury-trials - they don’t want them coming up with the ‘wrong’ verdict, do they? - Ed
too true ED …… thats why every man and woman who support the BNP have to strum up as much support as we can……….. we need to turn around this intolerable tide of treachery by our government and bring the power back to where it belongs ….. to the BRITISH PEOPLE
Des Browne wanted to stop independent tribunals for the Armed Forces and have government selected bodies instead. How democratic.
He also wanted to stop Coroners reporting negatively about kit shortages which resulted in the deaths of our Service-personnel. - Ed
I remember when Nick was harrassed by the Police and the CPS for inciting racicial hated and calling Islam an evil religion on a BBC documentary, and after months of hassle he was finally aquitted. (I was there, I have the T-shirt.) WELL, WHAT DO YOU KNOW?. The BBC, and no other media, has just revealed that the Police and CPS accused Channel 4 of distorting the truth in a documentary showing some Islamic extremists on video who were a definite danger to Britain, yet they these animals were still walking the streets free as a bird. WELL, WHAT DO YOU KNOW?. The police have just apologised to CH4 and have been fined £100,000. So that means Islamics extremists are a threat to Britain. Well … DER … I would have told them for nothing …

Nick Griffin is a Gem, I have listened to other politicians, and they come nowhere near Nick.
This lot must get thrown out, mind you, if the next election is 2010, and McBroon is still PM, he will be a good recruting sergeant.
Sir Paul Scott-Lee QPM, Chief Constable of West Mids. Police; Philip Gormley, the Deputy Chief Constable and Anil Patini, the Assistant Chief Constable (Security and Cohesion - and the instigator of the investigation of Channel 4) are all graduates of a ‘Common Purpose’ programme, as is Bethan David of the CPS. Courses of which were paid by taxpayers!
It therefore comes as no surprise that they were all complicit in blaming the messenger, Channel 4, instead of investigating the allegations made in their Dispatches exposé.
It is these and other Common Purpose graduates who have afforded moslems the cherished ‘protected-species’ status…hence the witch-hunt.
How does one get to see Nick Griffin speaking at a meeting? I have enquired before with no reply. I have also contacted the BNP contact channel.
I am coming to the conclusion that Nick is in fact only four inches tall, very thin, or flat to be precise. One dimensional, ( but not in speech ), and can throw his voice in a sound surround sort of way which is probably quite handy if you do a lot of public speaking.
I do find him accomodating because I can make him pause mid speech while I go and put the kettle on!
Other people have asked if his Q & A performance will be on BNPtv, I would like to add to that call.
Unfortunately the £100,000 damages will probably be paid by the long-suffering council-tax payer rather than personally by the Chief Constable and his fellow dhimmis.
“More than 1,200 people a day will lose their jobs over the next 18 months, economists have warned. ”

Yet we are still importing over a thousand enrichers every day.
Gordon McBroon ought to realise that the first thing to do when you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging.
Here’s another gem just released. Saudis Won’t Build Christian Church. Saudi Arabia will deny a request by the Vatican to build that Muslim country’s first Christian church, according to a report broadcast Tuesday by a television channel owned by the Saudi royal family. Saudi Arabia forbids public observance of any faith but Islam, but they have haver been allowed to build over 1500 new mosques in the UK in the last couple of decades. No point discussing what will happen when ISLAM REALLY RULES in the UK, is there?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/03/28/AR2008032802798.html
I disagree White Rose - Islam will NEVER rule Britain - not a chance in hell!
PP - I just visited my old Grammar School’s website and noticed they now have an ‘Islamic Society’ !
Sorry - I just had to tell someone. - Ed
INCREDIBLE SHOCK! UNIMAGINABLE HORROR!! COSMIC CATASTROPHE !!!
‘Dispatches’ to provide platform for BNP’s anti-Muslim bigotry !!!!!!!!!!
“One of Epping’s BNP councillors is set to feature on a controversial television documentary which attracts millions of viewers. Councillor Pat Richardson will speak candidly about her attitude towards Muslims living in Britain on the Dispatches programme scheduled to be screened on Channel 4 in July.
Mrs Richardson, who has the rare distinction of being the BNP’s only Jewish councillor, was interviewed for the programme during the local election count at Waltham Abbey Town Hall earlier this month, where she was elected to represent the Loughton Broadway ward.
Along with fellow BNP party members, she was questioned about her views on British Muslims by the show’s producer James Jones. Mrs Richardson said: “He was very polite and he followed us around throughout the morning.” Mr Jones said: “I chose to interview Pat Richardson as a subject because her background and political views make her an interesting subject.” from http://www.islamophobia-watch.com/islamophobia-watch/2008/5/14/dispatches-to-provide-platform-for-bnps-anti-muslim-bigotry.html
COMMENT If there’s any bigotry around, then surely it’s coming from the Vibrant Ones who want to ‘Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them’, rather than the BNP who, according to gender, just want to keep their heads on their shoulders and their bits in the appointed place.

Says it all eh! - Ed
[1] I met the BNPtv chap at the Burnley meeting on 8th May and was impressed with their effort. BPtv seems to be a separate outfit from the BNP; I tried to get him to put some material up in Flash format, as in Youtube - it’s far more compressed, but can only be viewed by computer, unlike DVDs. Also there’s a problem with getting paid for it. But still, the immediacy would be nice.
[2] http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article3934851.ece
is the Times online reporting on Channel 4 - I wish the production company wasn’t called ‘Hardcash’. There are some good emails on the puzzling nature of all this. Typically: ‘.. the courts have now proved that the program was a true representation, that goes some way to stating that the so called ‘preachers’ are inciting child abuse, sex discrimation and murder. When will we see these extremist dogs prosecuted?’ However a point I haven’t thought of is: ‘.. No wonder the Muslims dare not speak out about the nutters in the Mosques, even the police are too cowardly to take them on.’
‘Community Cohesion’ - those buzzwords again!
Regarding undercover mosque:
“Police claimed the programme, broadcast in January 2007, undermined “community cohesion” and “feelings of public reassurance”. From http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/showbiz/showbiznews.html?in_article_id=566438&in_page_id=1773
So undermining ‘Community Cohesion’ is now a criminal offence. It’s just a pity for West Midlands Police that this crime isn’t on the Statute Book - yet. But no doubt it soon will be. Then merely reporting the existence of culturally enriching ’street-jihad’ gangs and vibrant paedophile networks will get you seven years in the slammer.
And what on earth are “feelings of public reassurance” - is this Common Purpose Newspeak for “false sense of security” or “sheep to the slaughter”?
RW, the Muslims dare not speak out about the ‘nutters in the Mosques’, because what the ‘nutters’ are preaching is taken straight from the Koran. For any Muslim to repudiate their teaching would be to repudiate the Koran, which would be apostasy.
And here’s a very interesting article what happens to apostates from Islam, even if they are President of the USA!

Hi all, I am new here but am right behind the BNP. A year ago some of my friends called me racist when I mentioned the BNP but now they agree that its the way forward, trouble is most people wont say it in public, there is a massive underbelly of support for the BNP it’s just getting the people to come out and say it….
Look at this for example, I posted on a Blur forum, im a bit miffed with Damon Albarn, lead singer of Blur, a band I followed greatly over the last 15 years, now he’s become some multicultarist tool and no longer bothers with Blur…but look at the link, even support on there…

Welcome aboard, Sledge. - Ed
Well done Mr Griffin.
I think that the battle is now won, barring the collection of the recognition and acknowledgement by the “Establishment”
Even here in Notting Hill questions are being openly asked, unthinkable just a few years ago, and perhaps even a few months ago.
Artorius, yes, I know and agree re the Quran. All I meant was there must presumably be some people brought up as Muslims who are sceptical about it. (Something of this sort happened with Jews immigrating into Whitechapel in 1900ish — when the ‘reform’ Synagogues were set up.) But it’s hard to know how may there are. Also some of the reformers want it both ways; I heard a talk by an Algerian woman who wanted their govt to ease up on the anti-woman aspects of Islam, but seemed to think it was otherwise quite positive…
Crewe and Nantwich
Looking at General Election percentages:–
1997 Lab 58 Con 27 LDem 12
2001 Lab 54 Con 30 LDem 14
2005 Lab 50 Con 33 LDem 19
Gwyneth Dunwoody was popular. I think maybe the BNP is right not to put up a candidate. Even in 2005 NuLab got half the votes. (Or: the LibDems probably would have been right not to stand…) I haven’t seen any poll results, and haven’t bothered to check the NuLab candidate, doubtless worthless, but splitting the anti-NuLab vote looks a mistake.
‘Dispatches’ to provide platform for BNP’s anti-Muslim bigotry…’
Are Channel 4 going to present Councillor Richardson’s contributions in good faith? What safeguards are there that they will?
If it were the BBC doing the job, I would be somewhat wary of the possibility that they would use their craft to misrepresent the BNP.

We’ll have to wait and see, Dr Mark.
