MEPs behaving badly?

One of our researchers sent an email to each and every one of UKIP’s MEPs earlier this year asking them for a breakdown of their EU expenses and allowances claiming since taking up their seats in 2004. This is, after all, OUR tax money being claimed. Although the majority of them, or people acting on their behalf, responded – not one would or could, provide this information.

When our researcher contacted UKIP by phone and by email, they claimed to be unable to help as they did not have this information – however, when pushed, suggested that our researcher contact the MEPs concerned directly! Which, of course, he subsequently did.

All a waste of time really, as our researcher is no wiser now than he was before starting out on his quest!

A possibly related story may be found here .

Remember the EU does not have any money of its own to dole out in expenses and allowances – it’s OUR money and that of other unfortunate taxpayers in Europe!

  1. Does the freedom of information act apply to MEP’s?

  2. I don’t think the Freedom of Information Act applies at all any more. All the posters on this site get in response to their questions is evasive half-answers and fobbed-off excuses. We’re not even allowed to photograph the marriage register on our wedding day any more. However, THEY want to find out all about US and then proceed to lose the information in such an off-handed casual manner that your instinct tells you something is seriously wrong.

There is no longer any area of our life that inspires hope or trust. That is why I feel that this site is a little oasis in the desert that Britain has become where you will always find some nugget of truth and a refreshing sense of companionship with others who feel just the same way as you do. Thanks BNP.

  3. Ed: a couple of videos the party will like to see and publish.

Who really controls the streets of London…?

  4. Greed and arrogance! But isn’t this what the EU is all about? These people have sold their souls.
On another subject…has anyone seen the BBC’s new advert for their tv licence? Very sinister!

The advert probably strikes terror into the hearts of many elderly people. - Ed.

  5. It’s amazing isn’t it the way we pay to be controlled by the government, the EU, and their appointed media? They dish out rules, regulations, and utter twaddle, and slap us poor down trodden minions with the bill!

The BBC for years now have gotten away with a forced license fee that most of us, if not all of us, wouldn’t pay for given the choice.

Years ago friends of mine weren’t hooked up for TV from any of the then two main broadcasters, ITV and BBC. They weren’t interested in any of the rubbish these two corporations put out, nor were they interested in any of the junk the newspapers and magazines force feed us. They did rent videos though. Something light hearted, nothing heavy. When they questioned why they should pay the BBC’s license fee when they couldn’t receive its programs they were told that they could still receive pictures and so they must pay the fee!

It seems that unless the British public stand together and refuse point blank to pay for the Beeb, and the Lib/Lab/Cons endorsement of a one world government via the EU and other such conglomerates, (which we’ve had for years by the way), we’ll be charged for their drivel and subsequently controlled by it. To this end unless we wake up, and quick, we pay for our own demise.

Scotland and Wales take note: Do you really think you’d be independent even if you signed a constitution tomorrow? Don’t kid yourselves! As for Cornwall claiming independence! You’ve more to worry about than being a part of GB. Now is the time to join together. Unless you do there will be no Great Britain for you to become independent from. Make your choice. I hope you don’t decide to dig your own graves.

  7. I have just watched the 2 vidoe links above …. I am in absolute disbelief and disgust that this is allowed to happen in OUR country on OUR streets………..

The were totally out of control and order…. the riot squad should have been sent in and the lot rounded up and sent back to where they came from ….. They were saying that they will not listen to, nor follow any rules or laws of THIS COUNTRY …. well if that is the case then they should all go to a country where they are willing to do so …….

Because we all have to follow the rules and laws of this country, so why shouldn’t they?

This is BRITAIN not Iraq, India, Afghanistan, Iran or any other Muslim state … this is a CHRISTIAN COUNTRY …….. OUR COUNTRY

  8. Mark my words …. at some point the Islamics, extreme Muslims or whatever you choose to call them… will end up rioting on the streets of London, they will cause bloodshed and they will kill innocent people……

Now I know some poeple think “No, surely not” …. the way they are, the way they believe they have the right to do what they want…. Will end in disaster….

ALLTHANKS TO THE SPINELSS POLITICIANS AND THEIR POLITICALY CORRECT WAYS………

SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW … BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE …… and I for one fear that it is way too late to stop part of this happening.

    —-
We have a very short ‘window of opportunity’ to stop this situation getting completely out of hand. Law and order must be properly restored - not at some vague point in the future, not after numberless and useless ‘enquiries’ and committees and quangos and empty words from ‘equality chiefs’ and all the rest of it. People have an absolute right to live in peace, and not have their communities invaded and intimidated by hordes of thugs of any hue.
The first duty of any government, is the protection of the citizens. That duty is clearly not being given the priority it warrants.

  9. Sorry to rant on ED.

But does anyone else believe that if on the first video, that was a gang of “White Men” roaming with weapons they would get far? .. NO of course NOT…….

And if on the second video it was a BNP rally and they were spouting racist remarks they would have got the gently, gently treatment? NO of course NOT……. The riot squad, armed response and any one else would have been summoned.

And then of course the National Press, Media, Politicians and of course your disgusted local Muslim leaders would have all been out expressing their disgust that something like that could go on in Engalnd today?!

I said on previous blogg “Before it’s too late” …. I am afraid that it is definitely too late now…. there is in fact no way we can stop this … The police have their hands tied thanks to Gordon, Boris, Red Khan and not forgetting our former “glorious” leader … good old Tony……

We are in deep trouble thanks to all who have betrayed us.

  10. Tell me Ed…. what can we do please, because I for one cannot see a way out of all of this in the near future.

I am a member of a fantastic political party, but thanks to the press and media lot of people are still worried about being labelled if they join us or even support us, I have witnessed this first hand.

I ran for council up here in the Northwest and on election night myself and a colleague were to put it bluntly, bullied and intimidated by some Labour candidates or at least part of thier theiving gravy train passengers. If we were lesser men, it may have worked for them…. as it happens we found it quite amusing. But this is what we are up against. If it had been the other way around I bet we would have been reported or thrown out, probably made it in the local press as mindless Nazi scum .. no doubt.

Every generation has to go through this kind of process, it just takes different forms. Stay cool. - Ed.

  12. Thanks to Malcontent Patriot for his posting of the two videos above. Can I now challenge anyone who votes for the Lib/Lab/Con axis of evil to study the videos in detail without the restraints of Political Correctness. Are you people so utterly brainwashed that you would accept this behavior with all its implications. This is happening all over our country with the connivance of the media, are you so devoid of pride and spirit that you are willing to stand by, whimpering like whipped pups and let these people turn our country into a third world slum? If you are I truly feel sorry for you you`re nothing more than lost souls without a purpose, you`re being lied to on a mammoth scale and you cant see it, what a sorry bunch.

  13. I truly believe that we can lay the blame for all that is wrong with Britain today at the feet of Tony Blair and his Cabinet. His New Labour philosophy has run this country into the ground, and now nothing can be done until the general election because Gordon Brown will not admit Labour has got it wrong and change things around for the better no matter how bad it gets.
But as we all know Lib,Lab,Con all sing from the same hymn sheet and that is the one handed down to them from the E.U. So any vote for them will mean more of the same. Just look at Red Kens had over to Boris in London you can hardly see the join.
This country deserves better and only one party has the strength of character to stand up and say enough! The BNP.

  14. I have just read in my magazine that for the thirteenth year the EU accounts have not been signed off by their accountants. The official criticisms include weakness in monitoring handouts, complaints of neglect, fraud and irregularities.
For example farmers in Italy, Spain and Greece have claimed handouts for olive trees that do not exist and nearly a quarter of all farmers had declared at least five percent more plants that they had, thereby getting extra money. The report refuses to give the all clear to six tenths of EU spending.

No prizes for guessing who plays by the rules and funds all this!

  15. Unwieldy, corrupt, bullying, money-grabbing - all good descriptions of the EU today. Time for Britain to get out of this insidious bureaucracy. Can Anyone of the LabLibCon cartel give me one good reason why Britain should retain its membership in such a shambolic set-up?

  16. I have just read the report on the EUROFIDDLES of EX POLICEMAN,Tom Wise.
This adds a whole new meaning to the overworked term “political correctness”. It infers that to be politically correct, one must be a greedy, corrupt bladder of lard, totally without any scruples whatsoever when it comes to milking the public of your own country - BUT you must not get caught at it!
Tom NotsoWise has now opened a can of worms which will have all his fellow parasites panicking and making excuses for their “expenses” and no doubt trying to cover each others tracks. For a paragon of ‘truth and virtue’ like the News of the world to attack their greedy carryings on, really tells us something. BUT, what will be done about it? I suspect not a lot! Tom Wise however will probably become a persona non grata among his fellow eurocrooks for letting the cat out of the bag. Then it will all be swept under the carpet with the eurobroom.
Surely with every exposure of these so called politicians, our cause is strengthened in the eyes of the public, but whether they will reflect their disgust at voting time remains to be seen.
Support the BNP if you want honest politicians!!

  24. I know this is slightly off topic. But it has alot to do with MEP.
    http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/09052008/58/champions-league-eu-reject-blatter-quota.html
EU basically reject a 5 foreign player rule for European Clubs as it is a form of discrimination. So it doesnt matter how strong the premier league is our national team is going to be weak because only 30% of players in the Premiership are British.
This EU ruling is not just for the UK but for all EU countries.

Is there anything the BNP could do to stop this madness.

Again I apologise for it being slightly off topic, but it has relevance of MEP’s behaving badly.

  25. mono, Blair was a disaster, but I don’t believe ‘New Labour’ ever had a philosophy. I’ve just read Alastair Campbell’s Diaries (remaindered, cheap) - Campbell was a Daily Mirror hack - and Blair, with his 3rd class law degree, was never anything more than a front man. It’s terrifying to see his third-rate back up — Balls, Yvette Cooper, Straw, Brown, Darling, and the rest, all still around. How on earth did these people manage to control ‘Labour’?

Incidentally the first thing they did was to get rid of the tricky Labour Party clause about public ownership of most things. Youtube has videos of Labour Party political broadcasts — this is a 1997 one
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtluDdEOuGU&feature=related
Blair the actor. People voted against Major; how many voted for Blair? Watch to see if Blair had a philosophy!

  26. carolfarrell, says “not a woman in sight”but it amazes me how many women still can’t see what a disastrous future this government are trying to store up for them.Rest assured though madam that BNP supporters value our precious ladies freedom more than any hateful foreign imported dogma.True equality between the sexes is assured once we oust this bunch of criminals who are selling us all, male and female, down the river.Keep your heads held high ladies because where would we be without you????
