Labour meltdown will help the BNP in Barking & Dagenham

NO wonder Dagenham MP ‘two homes’ Jon Cruddas, and Barking MP millionairess Margaret Hodge, are in a state of panic over losing their seats at Westminster at the next General Election. The breakdown of the results from the London Assembly Top-Up List show that the British National Party are mounting a serious challenge in both parliamentary constituencies.

Yesterday’s Crewe and Nantwich by-election result is clear evidence that the Labour vote is in freefall and if that disillusionment with the Government continues over the next two years the British National Party could be on the verge of two famous election victories in 2010.

But Barkingham & Dagenham BNP can’t just sit back and wait for the Labour vote to collapse, our activists must be out and about working hard to improve the BNP vote across the borough and especially in those areas where the Party has yet to make an impact.

Abbey, Gascoigne, Longbridge, Thames, Whalebone and Chadwell Heath wards all need serious work done on them and a team of ward activists for each one should be concentrating on building the BNP support there. Longbridge, Thames and Whalebone ought to be solid BNP wards and over the next 24 months our activists based there must pull out all the stops to make this the case.

Another area that needs attention is the postal vote. Here, Labour has a clear 2,000 majority across the borough and this has to be cut dramatically by the time of the General Election. The Electoral Commission’s tightening up on postal vote fraud will help us here, as will the demoralisation of Labour activists who have in the past been so instrumental in organising Labour’s huge postal vote at election time.

Old folk in Barking and Dagenenham should provide the bedrock of BNP support and we must be as organised as Labour have been in the past in making sure that if they are using postal votes that they have our election literature at the earliest opportunity and that our supporters get their their postal votes sent off in good time.

The British National Party will also be helped by the borough’s Labour-run council which is completely out of touch with the needs and aspirations of the ordinary working people.

The council’s latest scam is to back a development to build 319 houses and flats at Lymington Fields in Lymington Road, Dagenham for London’s “key workers”. Labour claim it’s ’social’ housing for local people but the developers say it ‘private’ housing for the London-Wide Initiative, a Government-backed scheme launched in 2003 by English Partnerships, which enables key workers from across the city to buy their own homes.

The BNP opposition on the council, on the other hand, are calling for more council houses to be built to provide homes of the local people in the borough who cannot afford to buy their own, and that’s a stance that is winning favour with voters. Many people in borough are cynical of anything thing that the Labour council now does and dismiss the Lymington development as a just scheme to provide homes for yuppies being priced out of inner London, and Polish builders needed for the 2012 Olympic games.

  1. Wow! That looks good for BNP–almost all wards are doable. Congrats to all activists. Keep up the good work.

  2. I was wondering if anyone was planned to stand in the Henley on Thames by-election (BoJo’s old constituency)? I’d stand myself but I’m not sure what lines of enquiry to go down. I’ve often felt that the BNP could do surprisingly well around here.

  3. Have you noticed the Labour invention called UKIP has come bottom every time?.

  4. London should organize and bring down volunteers from all over the country to meet people and sell Freedom papers everywhere.

  5. Can I suggest that, even if you are not an “active activist”, you spend £10 on 1000 BNP Leaflets (mixed leaflets might be a good idea) and simply keep a few in your pocket–anytime you visit a local Pub either locally or anywhere in the country, just leave one or two lying around. Is that legal Ed? £10 or simply leave the problem to your children. All hands on deck. The Lib Lab Cons are all part of the EU Project.

Perfectly legal-I have them in my car for handing out to complete strangers in pubs that start to complain about the government. I tell them that I am a member and help run things locally–I always get a very positive response, even in this very rural area-Ed

The media saying UKIP got 11,000 votes compared to BNP’s 1000 votes.

Slimey cretins. BNP should ask for an apology.

  7. Isn’t there a cut-off point for the number of votes a party receives, so that if you fail to receive a certain number of votes the party is dissolved? Seems to me that UKIP is a waste of oxygen and space. Come on, wake up, smell the sodium and vote BNP.

  8. In the 50’s John Parker (Lab), MP, had a majority of 50,000–the safest Labour seat in the country. At the last election the majority was 7-8,000. Yes, it is winnable, but we must be very aware of the enrichers being shoved in to bolster liebors vote. As for Lymington fields, my old school closed in the early 70’s, then an annexe for Rush Green college, then finally shut in the 80s. It was once a good school. So now we find out that after being empty for 30 years, housing is being supplied for ‘Londoners’, while the housing queue for ‘Dagenites’ gets longer. Vote Labour? I dont think so….

  12. Only problem is that people are all flocking to the Conservatives. They know nothing about the party, and just assume ”coz it’s a big party and it ain’t Labour itz gonna be better dan da won we got innit”. We need to educate these people on the evils of the main parties, and give the people who vote ”because i like the colour blue” a good….educating.

  13. On with the rise of the BNP!! We want our country back and the hypnotic spell “New Labour” has held over the people has been broken.

Now the people want our country back, we must get the BNP message across, it’s a crucial time for Britain, our “darkest hour” since 1941. Before long we’ll be buried in the EUSSR.

However it’s always darkest before the dawn and the rise of the BNP is the light with which we’ll get Britain back.
