I have a lot of respect for the Queen and the royal family as a whole. But she should not have gone to Turkey. I can’t for the life of me understand why we as a country are portrayed as wanting Turkey to become part of the EU.

For me, absolutely not. Turkey is an Islamic country - true the people there are not as extreme as say Pakistan. But nevertheless the EU will suddenly have something like a 30% Muslim population.
