BNP Wins and Holds 100 Seats for First Time Ever

* Labour Mayor knocked out in Rotherham

* One vote short of third gain in Amber Valley

* Huge swing in Halifax

* Seven second places in Barnsley

* 31 % in Daventry

* Tories, Plaid Cymru and Lib Dems trounced in Swansea

* Labour heartland of Jarrow gets BNP heart attack

The British National Party has shown solid steady growth in all areas of the country in the regions where local elections have been held, taking seats from mainly traditional Labour areas, as that party’s vote collapses everywhere.

Before today, the BNP held 84 council seats at all levels. With almost all results in, this figure has now reached 100, and could still exceed that number.

In Rotherham, the BNP took two seats, including that of the Labour Party mayor. In Amber Valley, the BNP took two seats, and was an astonishing one vote off taking a further seat on that council.

In Thurrock, the BNP had a runaway victory by taking 40 percent of the vote, beating all the other parties hands down.

Two new BNP councillors grace Nuneaton - a running start for that area from zero, and a number of good places there bode well for the future.

In Pendle, Marsden ward, the BNP also beat all oncomers, polling double the Labour candidate and beating the Lib Dems into a humiliating fourth place.

In Three Rivers DC Ashridge ward, near Watford, the BNP gained a seat, which in Daventry’s Drayton Ward, the BNP polled 31% of the vote, coming a close second to the Tories and leaving Labour in third place.

In Halifax, the BNP took a seat with a whopping 300 majority, while in Stoke, another three seats fell to the BNP, pushing the party’s representation on that town council up to nine in all.

In Loughton, the BNP held one seat but lost two to a ferocious onslaught, a loss which was however ameliorated by the election of no less than 5 BNP representatives to the Loughton town council.

BNP national treasurer John Walker pulled off a surprise victory by being elected to the Mancot ward of Hawarden community council. This brings the total number of councillors for the BNP up to 100 countrywide.

There were also a large number of excellent second places countrywide. In Barnsely, no less than seven BNP candidates came a close second. In Swansea, the BNP trounced the Tories, Plaid Cymru and the Lib Dems, and in the spiritual Labour heartland of Jarrow, South Tyneside, a place where the Labour Party promised “there would never even be a BNP candidate”, the BNP polled 33% of the vote, beating the Tories into third place.

Righteous anger & political action:

The British National Party believes in telling the truth, even if it is sometimes uncomfortable to hear or offensive to those who would rather bury their heads in the sand than face real problems in our society. But while we often pass quite critical comment on the impact of immigration, multi-culturalism and alien religions on the indigenous people of our lands, we have no animosity towards immigrants, their descendants or the followers of non-native religions. Nor do we intend to encourage others to feel such animosity, or believe that anything we have to say is likely to 'stir up hatred' against anyone.

In fact, we believe that by providing a peaceful and Constitutional outlet for the anger and the frustration felt by millions of our people over the undemocratic transformation of our country by our political masters, the BNP actually defuses tensions. Where there is 'hate' we seek to turn it into righteous anger and political action against the only people who deserve to be hated - the politicians who use our taxes to turn our country into a place where we often feel like strangers in our own land.

This is absolutely fantastic news. Well done to all involved. The ‘Quiet Revolution’ is getting louder and gathering momentum. The only way is up!

Fan-bloody-tastic everyone - not massive, but an avalanche starts with the kiss of a single snowflake (someone famous once said - possibly).

    Only forward now.

For ME, for YOU, for BRITAIN!

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE OF THE BNP.A MAJOR VICTORY FOR THE COUNTRY. Of course the media will not mention it.The Conservative Party should not be too happy as they should have done better with such a useless government.I also ask did David Cameron take cannabis during his younger days as reported by newspaper reports. The fact that he will not answer this question, one can only assume that he did,now it is now a medical fact that anyone taking cannabis can have mental problems later on.THIS IS NOT THE CREDENTIALS FOR A POTENTIAL P.M.

  5. darkmatter on May 2nd, 2008 4:27 pm

There was also fantastic increases in percentage votes in Liverpool. One of the wards had an increase of 200 percent from the previous year, two wards up fifty and sevent five percent respective from the previous year. Fantastic!! Well done everyone.

  6. John Bean on May 2nd, 2008 4:28 pm

When you take into account the weight of the opposition, backed by their kept media and the Marxist dirty tricks brigage, this is really a good result. It is unfortunate that a couple of good candidates have lost their seats - temporarily - because of voters thinking the Tories are the lesser evil than New Labour, but the poor saps will learn. However, it is more than offswet by the excellent gains made North, South and Midlands.

Well done everyone! If we don’t get a seat on the London Assembly it is because Mugabe voting procedures have come into play.

  7. LANCASHIREMAN on May 2nd, 2008 4:33 pm

Fantastic to have reached 100 seats and counting! This is just the beginning, well done to all our brave activists you are TRUE BRITS and have my utmost admiration. You all deserve a medal.

I feel that Nulab are all but dead now. I know that Cameron can never form a credible national government. There will be a window of opportunity to do what needs to be done.

Great result in my home town of Swansea though I am not suprised. The party has always enjoyed support in our proud, traditional and very British city. Plaid Islam couldn’t give a toss about mainly English speaking areas. Things bode well for the general election. Swansea East BNP watch this space!

  11. liebouroutnow on May 2nd, 2008 5:42 pm

My heartfelt congratulations to all concerned! You have been up against BBC lies, BNP supporters being intimidated in the workplace, left wing indoctrination of youngsters by teachers and many other formidable obstacles. Through your own hard work, and preservation of dignity in the face of vile and scurrilous attacks, you have proved to people that the British National Party is a credible, legitimate and, above all, pro-BRITISH party with this country’s interests at heart.

Trear yourselves to some fine roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and a pint (or two) of fine British ale - you deserve it. Well done.

    Slightly off topic.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/media/bbc-blocks-bnp-councillors-from-question-time-598022.html

No doubt the BNP will not be invited to tomorrows Question Time. However the audience is supposed to consist of local inhabitants! May I suggest to the locals that very other question is “Why werent the BNP invited ??”. Thats assuming they havent vetted very single member of the audience….. Hmmmm.

Needless to say, congradulations on the number of seats gained so far. Lets hope fortune shines upon us tonight too :-)))

  13. RW on May 2nd, 2008 6:30 pm

You seem to have removed the threads from here looking at various boroughs. I checked out Leeds results to see if I’d been anywhere near right. The results are very similat to 2007’s, including, as bfore, very high votes for a number of locals - 2 Lib Dems, 2 Morley Indepndents, a Green, and a conservative.

However Temple Newsam changed from Lab to Con.

Unfortunntely there were o BNP wins. I sympathise with Joanna Beverley (Adsley & Robin Hood) - with 29.6% of the vote, who only needed 12 more votes to win. And Kevin Meeson (Middleton Park) with a rather stunning 37.4%, who only needed 50. Temple Newsam, which was close-ish 3 way, had a drop in Lab, but also in BNP, these votes going to Con and an Independent. In all these cases Lab dropped, but the anti-Lab vote split, some going to the Tories. Evidently quite a few voters backed the Tories against Labour rather than the BNP, very likely reasoning that publicity favoured them.

The percentages weren’t generally that different from last time.

So I’m afraid a bit disappointing. [Figures from mLeeds City Council site - my calculations]

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen/heard washed up labour ministers bleating about how they will have to listen or ‘engage’ with voters. Well it ain’t gonna happen. I could almost believe that labour removed the 10 pence tax band on purpose just so they had something to blame and talk about rather than the real reasons for their demise. After all, they DID know they were in for a real kicking. They are so wedded to the EU and depraved Marxist ideology they will never listen.

What the BNP achieved last night proves they are the only party fit to govern a great country like the UK. Time for Mcbroon the unwanted to go.

A very creditable and encouraging result - Well done to the BNP! Into three figures and climbing! Perhaps now we will be accorded a little of that proverbial respect we get shown so little of.

Very pleased to see Labour get the trouncing it so richly deserves.

I look forward to seeing the BNP take its rightful place amongst the other legitimate parties of our once-great nation and showing the way back to greatness once again. The British nation salutes you.

Well done BNP, most of this done through honest work and very little media help. This is something to be very proud of, any increase is always good news……. These increases are GREAT news. Rise up Britain.

  20. goldenmerlin on May 2nd, 2008 7:37 pm

Well done one and all,(sorry about Loughton’s two losses though). Well the voting is over and the number crunching begins. I hope that all the successful councillors keep their electorate informed on what is going on in the council chambers up and down the country. Exposing the LibLabCon for the traitors that they are and allowing those that voted for them to see what they got for their troubles. We have to start thinking of our next goal and pushing up our percetage of the vote and raising our profile right accross the country. Well done everyone and thank you.

  21. Mr.k on May 2nd, 2008 7:37 pm

Great victory for the party, shame Cons dominated so much. They may of beat Labour but it’s basically a swap of one Multiculti, useless, Communist anti-British party for another. But thats where we come in and stop them

  22. gardenofengland on May 2nd, 2008 7:43 pm

I couldn’t help but laugh at Labour taking Slough. Like as if it wasn’t so blatently obvious; Slough has an almost totaly immigrant population - otherwise known as imported votes!. Still waiting to see what the BNP votes are gonna be for the GLA although after the broken seals affair what can we believe?. Congratulations all round though, well done.

  24. CromagnonMan on May 2nd, 2008 7:56 pm

A grand result. Looking ahead, I think a Tory government will be easier to oppose. At the moment some people are thinking, “I’ll vote Conservative, they might do something about immigration,” as they’ve made some noises to give that impression. But no sane person will be thinking such a thing about Labour when they’re in opposition. With the Tories in office, the BNP will be the ONLY party out of government with a remotely credible immigration policy. Are we living in the time of the last Labour government in history? It may well be so.

  25. Ashmole on May 2nd, 2008 8:00 pm

  26. lippy57 on May 2nd, 2008 8:01 pm

I’m sorry…. Can someone help me please? … I am reading on the BBC website the results of the elections and it charts that BNP has 37 councillors ? Am I confusing the thier count of 37 with the your 100 seats for BNP ? Or am I being thick? ….. The BBC dont tell the complete truth anyway btw … If I had the chance I would vote BNP in this strong Tory area in which I live :-(

    God Bless BNP :-)

  27. trueblueloyalist on May 2nd, 2008 8:01 pm

    Congratulations!!!
Has anyone else noticed the media blackout of the BNP’s excellent national results in favour of the Green (Gay Right-on Ethnic Enrichment Nazi??) Party’s miniscule impact in Norwich?

  28. Loyal and True on May 2nd, 2008 8:24 pm

This a solid base to now use as a springboard to build on. The party must learn to walk before it can run and achieve even greater results at the ballot box.

The media will eventually have to openly talk to the BNP as they cannot ignore the will of a sizeable amount of the electorate. It would probably benefit the party if the media continued to ignore us as this would show the British proletariat that their needs are ignored by the mainstream LibLabCon-artists.

But caution must be observed at this time of electoral success as our enemies will try to claim that BNP Councillors cannot deliver and are incompetent in local government. The hard work and political struggle on behalf of the British people has only begun.

Very well done everyone, brilliant result . While we are a very young group here in Salisbury, we will strive to do the same in our 2009 elections thereby complimenting your hard work. Onward and upward BNPers.

  32. RW on May 2nd, 2008 8:52 pm

Yes trueblue, I’ve noticed the blackout. One trick is to put all ‘others’ together. Thus in this typical site
    http://www.politics.co.uk/news/local-election-2008-results-1220882.htm
‘Others’ have no net gain at all. The BBC has something similar. I presume this means that UKIP losses, green losses, etc amount to the same as BNP gains. In this way BNP performance is hidden. It reminds me of the way in which figures for crime by race are kept hidden. I can’t find anywhere, despite a lot of googling, a list of BNP councillors! Maybe this site should provide one, plus a map. To quote Shakespeare, they palter with us in a double sense.

  33. RW on May 2nd, 2008 8:54 pm

Come to think of it, another trick is to say councils have ‘no change’. Before it may have had a threadbare labour majority; now it may have labour very much outnumbered; but it’s described the same way, ‘no overall control’ with no indication of the general balance.

  34. RW on May 2nd, 2008 8:59 pm

    http://www.politics.co.uk/news/london-election-2008-results-1220880.htm
is a site claiming to be neutral ["politics.co.uk’s editorial policy is overseen by an editorial board comprising of elected representatives from each of the three main political parties."]

It has blanks to be filled in as the results for London come in. It says nothing about voting fraud that I could see. Note the alarmingly high proportion of Labour candidates who are ‘ethnic’!

  35. Malcontent_Patriot on May 2nd, 2008 8:59 pm

Good news indeed, although I had hoped for even better results for the BNP. Still, it is a good start and it is certainly a tonic to see the chickens come home to roost for those Labour idiots at long last. My main concern now, though, is that with the Tories in he ascendancy and on track to win the next General Election, the momentum for a radical change to the way Britain is governed may falter. People may become complacent again just because they consider the Tories will do the right thing by them - they won’t. It will be the same old story with them in charge - a bit of tinkering with the immigration rules and some of the more extreme pieces of Labour legislation but when the dust has settled, little will have changed for the indigenous population with the extremist element of the Muslim faith continuing their march towards the Islamification of the British nation. I urge all those who cast their votes the BNP way not to waver in the coming years.

Alright, I don’t want to jump the gun here but let me just go through some statistics that I have so far – with just around 2.4 million Londoners voting yesterday, magical 5% should be somewhere around 120.000 votes. Well, official results for GLA have been announced FOR 4 OUT OF 14 CONSTITUENCIES so far: BEXLEY AND BROMLEY – BNP: 17730; CITY AND EAST – BNP: 18106; HAVERING AND REDBRIDGE – BNP: 18973 AND NORTH EAST – BNP: 7506 which all adds up to 62315 votes from less then one third of constituencies! I think it’s safe to say that BNP HAD WON AT LEAST ONE PLACE ON GLA!!! CONGRATULATIONS!

Yes, the ballot boxes… I don’t believe the BNP figure was so low. (It occurs to me in fact it would be possible to poll voters, using proper randomising techniques. and ask what they voted, to see if there’s a discrepancy. Or possibly someone skilled in electoral law could go into action.. there must surely be some safeguards against blatant fraud, surely? And there must be evidence?)

Meanwhile assuming the reports are right, good luck Richard and personally I hope when mysteriously lost votes are rediscovered, and fraudulent ones removed, maybe another seat or two…

Presumably Livingstone will go, which will be something of a relief. But I do hope Osman’s first act isn’t to give all illegals free housing and benefits for life.

If my previous comment is published here, I should add maybe I’m being a bit ungracious; at least quite a lot of people must recognise NuLab’s uselessness, which is something.

[Raher off topic -- Looking at Alexa.com, to see if this site has gone up recently in rank, I found

the Christian Council of Britain, a counter to the MCB. I mention it because I recently visited Blackburn Cathedral [1938 - not a great building] which is part of a money making scheme of redevelopment — I wonder if the developers will outsmart the C of E. They’d produced a play based on ‘Cry the Beloved Country’ performed by ‘Asylum Seekers’ ‘packed with skills’. The blurb by Christopher Armstrong, The Very Rev Dean, also says ‘We owe our historical prosperity to their work’ - the moron thinks Asians built Blackburn.]

Brilliant brave people of the BNP!

Whites in America support you and are proud of your fearlessness and tenacity in the face of adversity.

Let this victory for our people be but the beginning of a new dawn for decency, truth, and freedom.

    Well done!

  76. Karl Baxter on May 3rd, 2008 4:16 am

There’s a real effort by the mainstream media to ignore the tremendous successes by the BNP.

I’ve just posted the following comment, which will probably be blacklisted, on the Daily Mail’s so-called ‘comment’ box:

“Well, we’ve had Tories and we’ve had Labour and we’ve had Tories and we’ve had Labour, etc., but what we haven’t had is the BNP being elected to the London Assembley before. In a sense Richard Barnbrook being elected as the BNP member of the GLA is much bigger news than just another Tory/Labour politician being elected Mayor.”

    Good Morning Folks.

Borris says he is going to resign as a MP.

    Vacancy in Crewe.

Off we go again, can we build higher?

At least one MP would do nicely.

Permission for you to PANIC Mr Brown.

Well done every one involved, you are breaking through whilst being up against lies, smears, brain-washing, an anti BNP multi million pound media, the PC brigade, the Anti BNP groups, the self hatred brigade and corupt authorities etc etc etc
You have got through this with one tool… the truth, an inconveniant truth for the authorities!
You are giving the public what they want, a true clear alternative to the main 3 parties who are all practically the same, fending always for the non indigenous whilst ignoring thier own.
    Congratulations, onwards and upwards!

  80. rogshar on May 3rd, 2008 7:57 am

Once again congratulations to the BNP its workers and followers. This is a kick in the hind quarters for the PC Media and the main parties who think they can ignore what many people are thinking. This is shown by how well the BNP have done. There is still more hard work to be done convincing our fellow citizens, but one thing is for sure, the BNP is here to stay.

What a joy that at last people have seen the light eventually.I wish Richard every success in his task…not an easy one of course and well done all the others who worked so hard.Little acorns make great oak’s.Let us pray this is the start of better times for our once proud nation pulled to it’s knee’s by treachery and multicultural destruction.Labour deserved it’s bloody nose and should also get an ear test to help them to “listen” in the future.
    Cheers all..a delighted Sam.

    Somewhat off topic, but …

royalecraig - you mention the 6 million abortions of unborn Britons in your post.

I’m doing a report on the ‘Genocide by Stealth’ of the native British. This will cover racist murder, ’sudden Jihad syndrome’, promoting drugs and drink to kids, unnecessary (’lifestyle’) abortion, obesity related early deaths, teenge suicide pacts, self-harm, etc.

If you (or anyone else) can point me to some RELIABLE sources and references this would be most welcome.

Apologies Ed. for the digression from subject!

  83. slalomrunner on May 3rd, 2008 10:30 am

Congratulations to all the BNP candidates who did so well despite the usual news media blackouts.
I just hope that the momentum keeps going and we get the major change we so desperately need in Britain.
    Well done.

i remember the first council seat in east london i think in 93, and the shock and horror in the media now weve hit 100, and nothing said. Personally i think its a good thing steady away like you say the quiet revolution, as long as we advance and never surrender its only a matter of time till we win our land back and give Great Britain back to the true Britons.

  85. onetruebrit on May 3rd, 2008 10:53 am

Let us not become complacent. These results have given hope to all who thought that Britain was lost.It will take time, but now that investment of time is starting to reap rewards.Nothing that Labour can say or do now, will undo the damage that has been done to Britain.Labour are finished and they know it.I feel sorry for poor Richard Barnbrook-what’s say we work hard to get him some company in there.Says it all when Boris the clown is entrusted with billions of taxpayers cash though doesn’t it?

I couldn`t believe the cowardice of slitheringstone & co. when Richard went to make his acceptance speech, they just scurried off stage like insects would do when you lift uo a stone …… truly pathetic, ….. but then again what can you expect from invertebrates like them!

  92. Carlos on May 3rd, 2008 4:12 pm

My comment last night at the London Assembly seeing Richard elected was: I would have been very much surprised if Richard had not been elected.

Tiredless, consistent, methodical, hard-working, four adjectives that define Richard to perfection.

We were there in 2004 talking to people door to door and wherever we could find those ready and willing to listen.

Since then, four years of hard work have paid off. We knocked at the door again and again and again and the door is finally open.

It is a pity that it takes such a long time for people to listen because much of the disasters we face today could have been avoided.

Nevertheless, no matter how much the media tries to avoid us, we are going to be there, right in front of them, and they will have to listen because the issues are not going to go away.

After years of difamation and myth fabrication, about the possibility of the BNP being part of the London Assembly, guess what? We are in and the man that so much tried to keep us out of the London Assembly by spreading lies about the BNP is out.

What a night! We waited outside the building of the London Assembly for many hours. They can run, but they cannot hide. We will be there day in, day out, as a reminder that one of us is there and there are more waiting to get in and will get in.

  93. Dutchy on May 3rd, 2008 4:15 pm

Great news, consider if you will the treatment by the media, the dark arts of lies and propaganda by the anti-brigades, lack of media coverage which the three main parties get, the BNP’s 100 seats plus a GLA seat is amazing!
You have my vote for the future.

  97. falcons1988 on May 3rd, 2008 9:20 pm

after reading that link to the staffordshire BBC site. Mr Tappin said “If thats what voters want, then we have to respect that”.
For a labour politician, I think that is quite something, he is probably one of the few, that still has bit of decency left. Alot more than Ken the communist, who stormed out at Barnbrooks speech. Generally these liblabcons are like little children, not listening thinking they know best. (I was the same). Then all of a sudden, they get brought back down to earth, with a MASSIVE BUMP.

Congrats to the BNP, very good election campaign. Dont stop there. In the communities, in which you are standing. ALl I can say is hold meetings and conferences regularly and ask what they want, then ballot it. Join in with local groups, like Football/Rugby clubs, Scouts/Guides, that kind of thing. You will gain respect of the sort money cant buy. You wont be seen as some political tw@t who has got a flaming clue.
Seriously, join in with communtiy, groups, hold meetings and conferences asking what EVERYONE wants regardless colour, race, creed, sex, age. Get the community involved, even if it is just a ‘Yes or No’ Ballot on a set of Traffic Lights for a awful junction. Onwards and Upwards. I dont want 100 seats, I want 1,000,000.

    vote BNP

  98. Euro-Ultramarino on May 3rd, 2008 9:28 pm

Congratulations! These are the first steps for the English to take back their country. I have no doubt that one day England will be restored. Best wishes for the BNP!

  99. Strider on May 3rd, 2008 9:52 pm

Strider hasn’t posted at length lately for various reasons, however the recent elections warrant extended comment.

Firstly, to have a BNP representative on the GLA while our economy is being artificially propped up is an absolutely fantastic achievement. It means people are thinking about what is good for them BEFORE they are really hit hard in the pocket. No revolutionary political change has ever occured from a background of financial wellbeing, neither Communist or Nationalist. People only generally vote for as much change as they think they need.

However, an economic collapse is imminent. Our national finances have been deliberately mis-managed for the purpose of collapsing Britain and merging her with the EU. Without solid industrial collateral to save our skin, once the bubble bursts, a collapse will be swift and inevitable.

Therefore we must stand BNP candidates far and wide… even if they ‘only’ score 5% of the vote. And then when the financial difficulties hit home, the people will know there will be a BNP logo on their ballot paper.

Whenever anyone finally succeeds against all odds, they always tell of the times they nearly gave up, due to immense physical and psycological hardships. But they stuck it out, without compromise, and the winning was all the sweeter for their efforts.

We will not listen to the lies of the left.

We will not deviate from the path we are on.

We will not let petty egotists disrupt our focus.

We will understand the concept of loyalty to our leadership, who know just what the game is and how to play it best.

But above all, each and every one of us - members old and new - will make it their highest goal to comprehend the philosophy of nationalism.

  100. gyukcas on May 3rd, 2008 11:16 pm

Fantastic progress for the BNP.The pathetic media attempts to minimise our achievements show that what we have known for years is true, that the traitors are more terrified of the truth than ever before. The reason we have nothing to fear from their hateful smear campaigns is that the main party liars have to have very good memories in order to avoid their embarrasment when they inevitably get exposed by the BNP.We,however have no such problem because the truth never has to be altered or denied and the British electorate are recognising the fact that the truth flows fluently from the voices and pens of our people.May we continue to rise together in TRUTH with the British National Party !!

  105. SimonGB on May 5th, 2008 3:47 pm

Ed, I think what it boils down to is that some parties don’t like the fact the BNP are gaining popularity! I keep hearing on the news that the BNP is a ‘far right’ party……..since when has protecting your country, your history & your future been ‘right wing’……?

Since it’s been a convenient way to stifle Native resistance. - Ed.

  107. jonsastar on September 19th, 2008 6:09 pm

Go BNP, keep growing and keep getting the votes. We Britons really need a strong political group. I’m sick of hearing about people that can’t get a home on the council because they don’t match the criteria.
This country needs to keep an eye on all the foreign workers that are gaining key jobs that give them power over media, money, houses, laws, etc. These people have an agenda. And we need our own. One that favours native British.

    Welcome, jonsastar - Ed
