BNP Lodges Complaint Over Broken Seals on GLA Ballot Boxes

The newly elected British National Party councillor for Tilbury Riverside in Thurrock, Emma Colgate, reports in from the Alexandra Palace counting station:

“We have lodged an official complaint with the Returning Officer here over the large number of ballot boxes, stored overnight, which have had their seals broken and the contents obviously interfered with. The ballot boxes here are quite literally hanging open.

The Returning Officer says they have taken note, but that there is nothing we can do about it.”

Councillors Richard Barnbrook and Bob Bailey, leader and deputy leader of the BNP on Barking and Dagenham Council, and also the number one and two candidates on the GLA top-up list for the BNP, have, just a few minutes ago of writing, lodged a complaint with the election observers at ExCel in Central London.

More on this widespread fraud to follow shortly.

  1. Someone responsible person holds the keys to this building, and if the intruder has not broken an entry to get inside, the Police should be eager to get involved and treat the situation as a crime scene.

  2. Oh dear! What a surprise?

Do not the Police escort the Ballot Boxes?

Are they not under CCTV survelance?

Who has tampered with the Ballot Boxes?

    A Police Investigation is required.

The LibLabConfidence Tricksters must be very worried.

  4. Exactly what we all feared would happen! What the hell are they talking about, nothing they can do about it?A criminal offence looks to have taken place,in which case every single person who was within a mile of those ballot boxes should be interviewed under police caution and Messrs Barnbrook and Bailey must raise hell until this happens, however,we all know about the conditions we are living under so we had best not hold our breaths,eh?

  6. Well, we were waiting for this, but when it does actually happen, it takes your breath away. Is that a suitable reply from officers especially appointed to uphold our democratic freedoms? - “nothing we can do about it”. What the **** are they there for, then? They’d have done better to resign and we could have brought in a few thugs from Zimbabwe. We’d have had a better chance of a fair deal then!

  8. This could only be achieved with the aid of main stream secret services being involved. They are petrified of major embarrassment: I would stake my head that the real BNP support was a phenomenon that scared the bejesus out of Gordon Mugabe, and this level of desperation only goes to prove it.
Sadly, 40% of ballot boxes having BNP votes removed means that the truth will never be known as to what extent the British people have been robbed of their democratic vote.

  9. For those that don’t know the ballot boxes in London are made of cardboard. Not very reassuring in labours new Mugabe style democracy.
The recent by elections we had in London should help highlight any potential fraud as even in our least promising areas we managed around 4-5% so anything less than 5% i feel has to be the result of fraud.

  12. Yes business as usual from our democratic friends no doubt.

I went to our local Infants School yesterday with my wife to vote for England. An elderly local lady at the door - then ushered in by a middle aged “Asian” man to a long desk behind which sat 4 women - all ethnic “minorities” - 3 “Asian” women and I would think an Iraqi or similar complete with headscarf. We were then instructed by these people as to which voting procedures we should follow. These must be the “especially trained polling officers” we hear about - then our voting forms into a CARDBOARD box !!!

I might add we live in an area adjacent to Epping Forest - similar to what BBC presenters often refer to ” a leafy London suburb” - all I can say is the experience was like casting our vote in a third world country - perhaps that’s what they want !

Would it be such a crime to have English polling officers in our own country ?

  18. It seems that people have rightly registered their disgust at Labour, and have pinned a lot of their hopes on the Tories who as yet, not having substantially different policies to Labour, offer little more than just hope. It may seem that we didn’t have a landslide but politics is a long term game and we are now established as the fourth political party (the Green’s having now lost the monopoly on environmental issues) and simply have to face the year on year toil to progress that all the parties have to. This year it’s Tories up, Labour down, Libs/BNP/Greens steady. Ukip have safely diminished into the ranks of the eternal ‘others’. What will distress the anti BNP lot is that we are in the mix from now on and they know that fundamentally their vitriol has little effect on the bigger electoral tides that concern the parties.

  20. Couldn’t believe the cardboard boxes when i turned up to vote. I remember thinking about security (or lack of it) at the time, and from what you report it sounds like my fears have been borne out.

Here’s hoping for a BNP win; this country desperately needs change, and we need it now.

  21. You know, I really think this demonstrates what a threat the establishment know we are to them, yet they do not know how to fight us (if Pickles guide to defeating the BNP is any guide). The Orwellian doublethink is quite prevalent. They believe “the BNP are a small bunch of ineffectual powerless extremist no-hopers who will never amount to anything” whilst simultaneously thinking “we must set up organisations and field a black ops campaign to stop the rise of the increasingly popular and influential BNP”.

I don’t know about anyone else, but this tampering has not filled me with anger, but hope. I know we MUST be doing something right for them to react to us in this manner. When electoral fraud is finally stamped out (and it won’t be long), the true scale of nationalist support will be revealed. And it’s gonna shake their world.

  23. One wonders what the conservatives will have to say about this. They should be just as concerned, shouldn’t they ?? Unless of course their in on the act.
There’s nothing remotely democratic about this society any more. They gag a political party from legitimate main-stream media coverage, import votes from abroad. And now they tamper with the ballot boxes.

    Posted by AndyK | May 2, 2008, 11:20 am
  24. They should be made to call the ballot illegal & have a new poll, they would then want to keep the boxes safe, if this is allowed to carry on then anyone who wishes to win an election has only to tamper with the voting papers!

  34. I’ll follow on from my previous letter in retrospect then. Although I wished Richard and the London team all the best of British, it’s obvious that the media, politicians, and their third-party infiltrators are carrying out their ”Herculean task”, needed to stop the BNP, as stated by Searchlight/UAF last week. Mugabwe and the Chinese will be please with their fellow Banana Republicans after this. When the pocket is no longer deep enough to carry the unusable currency that the pound will soon become, then, and only then, will the slumbering idiot masses awake.

  35. As Paganpete said, “Digging” is easy, especially if someone has already submitted the original article. The more diggs, the more people read the message!

Recent polls showed a lot of support for the BNP, the BBCs “Have your say” page on today’s elections has pro BNP comments as the most popular (http://newsforums.bbc.co.uk/nol/thread.jspa?sortBy=2&forumID=4721&start=0&tstart=0&edition=1&ttl=20080502144138#paginator_

Yet, somehow, it didn’t show in the elections. I may be putting two and two together and getting 14, but something just doesn’t see right.

I am trying not to despair, at this latest news of the blatant electoral fraud our enemies indulge in. “Nothing to be done about it”. What rubbish!

  47. They have just referred to our complaint on Sky News. I have never heard them mention BNP so many times. The broken seals were more down to a ‘lack of stickiness’ and the ballot boxes were ‘under constant police supervision’ last night - or so it is reported.

How very reassuring to know the ballot boxes were in such safe hands all that time.

    Posted by Winston | May 2, 2008, 3:28 pm
  48. I’ve been talking to people from Leyton and Walthamstow who had voted BNP and were told not to fold their ballot paper and to mark the paper in pencil, not pen. There was also some news about the ‘officers’ marking the polling card no. on the ballot paper before handing it over for the vote…what happened to the ’secret ballot’? I find this whole episode of the ballot boxes being tampered with absolutely digusting, but sadly not in the least surprising - nor would it surprise me if Ken Mugabi retains his ‘position’. This has filled me with anger, in fact I am thinking of becoming a BNP representative for Dartford next year to help stop this corruption. There is more talk here from people about joining the BNP far more than Tibbsy’s (English Democratic) party.

  49. I spotted the cardboard ballot boxes which did not look at all secure, if other country’s can have solid clear plastic ballot boxes why can’t Britain, even Zimbabwe had them! I am sure they will claim the boxes are recycled cardboard and it was all to do with our carbon footprint or some such rubbish.

    Posted by Sabrewulf | May 2, 2008, 4:01 pm
  50. Getting on for 6 pm; I’ve seen no mention of this yet. It’s not clear if these ballot boxes held all the 3 types of London voting paper; it’s the top-up ones that may be most vital, as they are proportional representation, more or less, and therefore would need to be targeted to fraudulently reduce BNP seats. It will still be a matter of days before the London results. Perhaps there ought to be a rerun of the election. In fact, clearly, there should be.

NB in my area there were solid boxes with a sliding compartment which looked very secure.

  53. I was looking up BBC News Q&A: London mayoral election 2008 and was alarmed to see, in response to a question about what happens to the votes, that they were “securely stored” overnight - the point being that they themselves put in the quotation marks, as if they were being ironic! Made me jump back and think.

    @ Warriorbrave

They can’t do anything about wrongly releasing foreign murderers & rapists back on to the streets instead of deporting them.

They can’t do anything about preventing millions of foreign criminal illegals entering the country.

They can’t do anything about anything.

The first duty of a government is to protect its country’s borders.

All these things are the signs of a country in terminal decline. For God’s sake Vote BNP & kick out the criminal politicians & their media lackeys.

Why is it taking so long to count up a few votes? 24 hours and we’re still waiting. They’ve got to be up to something. They claim to have been shocked by the turnout which probably means that they need a lot longer to nobble the areas where the BNP have scored votes. They’ve probably got a stash of boxes with crosses already made out to them. All they have to do is substitute anything with a vote for the BNP, no names involved, no questions asked. 59. Anyone who interferes with the democratic process in this country,by ballot rigging or tampering with the ballot boxes deserves the death penalty because they are traitors of the worst kind. No doubt, in the present mental state of the populace, that sounds rather drastic, but this is the result of years of brainwashing by the media,in particular the BBC,and the daily papers. How has it come about that ALL the means of influencing the masses are in the same mould of betrayers of all we hold sacred in these islands? And why are the population so downtrodden that they think they have to conform to every disgusting word that issues from the mouths of these scumbags. It proves that propaganda still holds sway in the world,so we must also show that TRUTH also has the power to influence people to think for themselves. This land of ours is far too precious to give up on.Keep on working towards what every true British citizen wants. The BNP will eventually prevail.

  60. I feel so vexed over this I felt I had to send an email to the Metropolitan Police Commissioner:

    Dear Sir,
You should have resigned by now. This is uttterly disgraceful. What sort of banana republic have you reduced this country to with your laissez-faire attitude. Bloody arrogance in the extreme.
I suppose we shouldn’t be in the least surprised though at your delinquency, since, if you’re not prepared to prosecute those who have, and still are, committing treachery against this country, even after you have been presented with overwhelming evidence, then it makes one wonder about the integrity of our police force, and your integrity in particular.
How the hell do you sleep at night, accepting a salary whilst failing to uphold the law in this country?

You make me sick to the bottom of my heart.
This isn’t what our forefathers died for.
You make a mockery of their sacrifices.
You would do well to READ the comments underneath this article.
What a sad day and a sad reflection upon our police force.

    Yours extremely sincerely

  61. Ballot boxes should be made of metal.
The mark should be in pen not pencil. Nobody should be near you when you make your mark, the paper should be folded once and dropped through the slit in the box.
That is how you hold an election.

  62. Please take this issue to the top. This must be investigated by the police.

Well done to Richard for his success in the GLA. However, let this success not act as a diversionary tactic to appease the party.

While rejoicing in the success don’t lose sight of that fact that (I’ll counter) the BNP has been robbed.

What will the United Nations have to say on this election that has been sullied by ballot rigging, intimidation, media blackout, illegal third party interference, gerrymandering in the form of bought votes and the flood of government friendly immigrants…

This state of affairs needs to be published world wide. The people of the world MUST be told of the dictatorship that has replaced democracy in Britain.

Furthermore, the British army must be made aware of this.

Hello, I’m a BNP activist appointed by Robert Bailey as a BNP counting agent at the Excel centre in London. My job was to oversee (along with reps from the other parties) which party gets awarded, if any, gets any vote from any ballots which the computer system deemed abnormal.

To be fair, they would have asked voters not to fold the paper, because the fold creates a mark and that mark would confuse the computer system and the vote counters would have been flooded with “abnormal” votes which would have needed to have been allocated manually by the CROs. I would say about 1 in 30 of the abnormal votes were just simply legit votes which had been folded and the scanner picked up the fold, which showed as a mark on the screen.

Richard indeed was unhappy with the ballot boxes at the time. I also complained to an independent election observer about the boxes.

I’ll post more later, but to be honest, I’m going to speak to Richard and Bob a bit more before I do.

    Cheers,

    Chris.

  64. I was at the count at Olympia 2. This electronic system makes counting agents and observers redundant. With the old system one could watch the ballot paper from tip out to bailing in 100,s spoils were there to be noted. This system removed the ballot paper into scanners. we could not see them. The only participation was in looking at a projected black and white faximilles of spoilt papers. If they had been interfered with and say an extra cross added in a different colour pen, there was no way of knowing as it was a black white picture only.
I myself saw many votes cast for us, spoilt by extra crosses on the paper. Some obviously were mistakes by the voter, but some may not. In general the average spoilt paper for the BNP was above the average in my opinion, Our final count was 5.3% our percentage of spoils was higher, in my opinion 7-8%. plus of course broken seals. If electronic voting is the way forward this system isn’t good enough. But somehow I think the powers that be are delighted with it.

  65. This is a disgrace, and if it is not investigated by the Police makes a mockery of our electoral system. Don’t let this one go, I suspect massive fraud here.

  66. Not meaning to put your hopes down, bit, i seriously doubt anything will come of this, do you really think the pro-Labour controlled police will bother with this matter or treat it fairly?
