JUST like Newcastle, Liverpool was another city that Labour bragged would never ever see a British National Party local election candidate - next Thursday there will be ELEVEN!
With both Labour and the Liberal Democrats struggling to hold on to their vote share in the city, the British National Party looks set fare to firmly establish itself as the voters’ third choice in Liverpool.
The BNP targets in all eleven wards are straightforward. In Kirkdale and Norris Green wards to confirm its ‘main challenger’ status and reduce Labour’s majority. In Clubmoor, Everton, Fazakerley, Speke-Garston and Warbeck to build on its ‘Third Party’ credentials, and in the other four wards to take third place from the Tories, the Greens, UKIP and the old Liberal Party.
Morale amongst Liverpool Organiser Steven Greenhalgh’s dedicated team is sky high as the public’s response to the BNP campaign is the best it has ever been in the city. Even Radio Merseyside has acknowledged this growing groundswell of support for the Party and invited a BNP representative to a debate it held recently - driving a coach and horses through Liverpool Labour Party’s ‘No platform for the BNP‘ demand.

I use this post as a platform for this short comment.
Down here in sunny Worthing we have two candidates one of which is myself. There are others and from comments made to me by people I meet they are disappointed they have no candidate to vote for in the wards where we have no candidates.
I read of an area where there is one BNP candidate and eleven wards empty, because no-one else would stand up as a candidate.
I comfess I thought twice about doing so mainly because of my family and how they would react if any repercussions happened. In that event they have been fine and angered that we should be targetted as we have been.
I am made of rather sterner stuff than that, and there has to be others out there who will do as I have done.
To quote a nationalist whom the British Govt penalised and locked up years ago (I apologise if the quote is wrong) that in order to bring about a change, those who want the change must do what is necessary to bring about that change.
That nationalist was Gandhi who also said that India was for the Indians as England was for the English and France was for the French.
I have read much about him and other nationalists who were punished by British Govts for speaking up and standing up for their rights.
No-one ever calls Gandhi or those others racists for saying leave my country.
There is a time to say “I will stand up” and I have done so.
Others have done that, but we must have more and more who will be candidates.
If we want to be free then vote (and stand) for the BNP.
You see, we cannot lose this battle why, because of people like David Little I’m sorry to make a play of your name David. But to me and thousands of others you are David Big. David the Brave, David Little. one day soon I will shake your hand.
On to Liverpool. The post yesterday about Newcastle being a Labour stonghold and not the place that the BNP might prosper. This is how I thought of Liverpool. Three years ago I met a Liverpool couple whilst on holiday in Corfu. I never mentioned my politics, but as happens politics generally comes into the conversation. The gentleman from Liverpool just piped up out of the blue that he had never voted in his life. I replied that it was crazy not to vote, even negatively. He then qualified the remark by saying no your don’t understand. The reason that I have Never voted is because the BNP had never stood where I live. The rest of the holiday was sheer enjoyment as he explained that Liverpool is seething with support for us. Which now seems proven. Well done lads and lasses!
The responce we are getting on the street is brilliant, cant wait for the results.
Best wishes to all these candidates in Liverpool. Come on, scousers, let’s see a big result.
VOTE BNP!!
10 or 11 standing in St Helens Merseyside as well. WELL done all of you. I wish you the best of LUCK. bnp 4 me God bless them.
I heard the radio broadcast, great stuff! The great city of Liverpool has one of the worst performing councils in the country (Who are Lib Dem!!) It’s good that the people who are proud of their city will have a truly patriotic party to vote for, rather than the same old rubbish… Good luck to everyone in Liverpool!!!!!
The BNP already seems to be third (always ahead of Con and Lib and UKIP and Green). I’m a bit surprised how little representation the BNP has here, as Liverpool on the face of it sounds a likely area for disillusioned Labour voters. Some (all?) of the Lib Dem influence must surely be due to a protest vote against NuLabour. And I’ve certainly heard that ‘regeneration’ projects (designed to boot people out and build profitable new housing plus roads) have been mishandled by the Liverpool Lib Dems.
Can I suggest both to canvassers and hesitant voters that the way to test the BNP is to vote for them — if BNP councillors turn out as bad as the other parties, then that’s a piece of evidence; if they are better, ditto — at some point they have to be tested, and local government is as good a place as any to try.
Good luck and let’s hope for some seats, though clearly on the above figures this would be a dramatic change.
‘David Little’ makes a good point on peoples’ caution. But this is wearing off. Yesterday I was in Gateshead and happened to see an election information notice on four candidates, one of them, I was pleased to see, being BNP. The lists include names and addresses and candidates have to put up with that, and are increasingly deciding they will.

Liverpool has been betrayed time after time over the years. Go and have a look at what was once one of the greatest docklands anywhere in the world, and the evidence of decay disguised as picturesque marinas etc. is there for all to see. The perpetrators have been trying to brainwash the Scousers with fanciful stories of City of Culture to hide the truth about the massive industrial strength of Mersyside being eroded almost to non-existence, and the indigenous population pushed into the position of being at the back of the queue when it comes to housing, jobs etc. I do believe that the Liverpudlians are seeing light at the end of the tunnel and turning to the BNP. Great news!!
The people of Liverpool should have had enough of Marxist conmen pretending to be their friends whilst selling them out and destroying their communities by now, just as the rest of the British indigenous have. Liverpudlians i hope, will vote to preserve themselves from any further damage by voting in the BNP candidates who will put them and theirs first, and not those and theirs.
Good luck to all up there!
