No Money, so Invasion of Britain Continues
A border security force being unveiled by ministers today is unable to search for illegal immigrants at weekends because of a £100million budget crisis. The UK Border Agency will start life without Customs and Immigration Service staff being trained to share each other’s powers and with only limited rights of arrest.
The 25,000- strong force does not even have its own promised uniform as officials wrangle over the design. One immigration source said: “Basically, it is going to exist in name only at the outset.”
The ban on immigration staff searching for illegal immigrants at the weekends and Bank Holidays is the result of a £100 million overspend which has left officials desperate to avoid overtime payments wherever they can.
All raids will be halted except where staff formally request written permission at least three weeks in advance from senior bosses - who have made clear it is unlikely to be granted.
Weekend staffing levels are also being cut, meaning that when police find and arrest illegal immigrants outside office hours, immigration officers are increasingly unlikely to be able to attend, and many will end up being released with no action.
At the same time, the Labour government has spent at least £9billion on the illegal and immoral war in Iraq, and, as revealed yesterday, spends more than £8.8 billion a year supporting the mass immigration policies of the past few decades.

The Border Agency is a complete farce. Another soundbite from the Marxist Labour Party to give the impression that they are doing something when it reality, as your story indicates, they are actually facilitating the tsunami of illegal immigrants that are swamping our country, with the aim of eradicating us as a people.
On a slightly different note. The BBC aka MBC (Muslim Broadcasting Company) news ran an interesting piece two nights ago about Ahmad the Afghan, who although working “extremely hard” for “long periods of time” as a shelf stacker in Costcutter, couldn’t earn enough to supporthis wife and (at the moment) SEVEN children! So guess who foots THAT bill then? Are we so short of labour in this country that we have to import Afghan Goat Herders?
This is something our armed forces could be used for. I know the Airforce and Army are a little stretched now but the Navy is doing nothing apart from getting kidnapped by Iranians in rubber dingies

Zimbabwe/Rhodesia (I visited a few times in 1970s and 1980s) offers parallels with Britain now. Ian Smith and his unilateral declaration was widely ‘condemned’ as the expression goes. Everyone not in that country - Harold Wilson, opposition, BBC, Private Eye, all the press - was sure, or said they were sure, of black majority rule. There’s a comparison with pro-immigrant groups in the UK since the 1970s. I like many assumed the people braying about these things had some idea what they were talking about. But they didn’t.
Herr Braun is so concerned about the democratic rights of the Zimbabwe people but doesn’t give a ****about the democratic or constitutional rights of indigenous Britons.

paulkav_uk - That’s not the only cost. We are already home to those that have fled Zimbabwe. Will they be going back? Of course not. Life’s too comfortable here. Then there will of course be thousands of new “refugees” who find Zimbabwe no longer a safe place to live and they will flee here.
Good point hughie-s. Thousands of black Zimbabweans came here to escape Mugabe. Now can we expect, with the likely defeat of Mugabe, that thousands of his supporters to claim asylum here? Then no doubt we can be enriched by getting shot in the crossfire as these wonderful downtrodden people try to kill each other in their imported war.

Get the TA and any other spare armed forces there. Ask volunteers if needed. If our borders are not secure our country is not secure, its that simple. This is very serious.

Sounds like the border security FARCE to me. Bring our lads back from Iraq, put the army on the borders, put marshal law on a half mile border zone round the United Kingdom’s borders and entry points. The liblabcon will waste billions on rubbish like EU contributions, benefits to scroungers, arty-farty PC projects etc etc.
Something as fundamental as a border security force should rank top priority along with the real essential services, police, fire, ambulance.
No money and yet we all know the government will find BILLIONS like magic when/if Zimbabwe gets a new leader. Yes, another African country proving that they can’t govern and another African country that will end up getting our hard-earned tax money.
