Today’s Sunday Telegraph contains a warning as to how our parasitic Parliamentarians may get around the possible loss of their Additional Claims Allowance (ACA) by accepting a massive increase in salary – from around £60,000 per annum, to £100,000 per annum! And, as how they spend their salary, as opposed to allowances, is an entirely private matter – they will be exempt from disclosure under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act!
We quote: “The new regime of transparency and openness may not last long, however. There is talk of replacing the second-home allowance with a nearly equivalent increase in MPs’ annual salary: instead of receiving £61,000 a year plus a range of expenses, MPs would be paid an annual salary of about £100,000. It would, in effect, be a return to the old regime of keeping the details of the Commons gravy train secret. Unquote.
In addition, we have it from a well-placed source at Westminster, that this possible claim for £100,000 per annum may itself be nothing more than a cynical public relations ploy – allowing “concerned Honourable Members” to settle on £80,000 - whilst making much of “rejecting” the additional £20,000 by way of “demonstrating” to the public their newly discovered integrity!

HP sauce bottles have a picture of the Westminster Styes on the label.
Dunno why.
The pigs have plenty of sauce but none of it is on HP.

HA,HA, cunning plan, more like childishly predictable as usual.
What a bunch of corrupt greedy infant school level thinkers we have running the country.
How patronising is that.
Thanks for the headline by the way, sarcasm is the best form of wit.
Why are some of my comments, especialy
about the Tyburn Tree not published?

Lots of comments aren’t published, Whistle.
Please continue posting. Thanks - Ed
Commiserations WHISTLE, I’ve had one or two pulled as well but I wasn’t really too surprised because when I posted them I was aware that I might well have
either overly and perhaps undeservedly besmirched some well-known figure’s reputation on account of his having acted contrary to the national interest
but under LiLabCon duress or I had pushed out the boat a bit too far in the “incitement” direction. We have to remember that this website is constantly monitored by those who wish us no good at all and not leave ourselves open to possible legal attack.
Having said that, may I most respectfully recommend that you eschew the Tyburn Tree. Hanging, even by the Islam-favoured short-drop strangulation method, is far too easy a get-out for those who have treasonably betrayed our country by selling it out to the EUSSR. As I have said in earlier posts, by deliberate neglect our country’s infrastructure is in a pretty bad state, even by Third World standards. Our roads are in disrepair, our electricity generation capacity is dangerously close to insufficiency, Peak Oil means that the far more efficient means of transport - railways, many of them closed 30,40 or 50 years ago - will need to be reinstated, while our city centres increasingly look like Hiroshima after the A-bomb.
No more fitting adjunct to their erstwhile political careers could there be than that all the traitor politicians be issued with an orange boiler suit, a pick, a shovel and a wheelbarrow and be made to work, very hard indeed, to repair all the infrastructural damage which, either by negligence or design, they have caused. They
must be made to clean up their own mess.

Hey folks, don’t feel bad–I’ve even had one or two of mine thrown out, so we’re not just modding you..we’re also modding each other to keep up standards :^)-Ed
Point taken Noel, and Ed. I get rather frustrated at the antics of our ‘rulers’,that it makes me feel that way. I know that at my age (62), we are the last generation to know freedom–of speech, movement, and thought. We also had something called Discipline–something the generation after never had–and they are the ones in charge now, preaching freedom etc. (strange old world). The cost of their freedom is enslavement for the rest of us. As we now know, this so-called elite have ruined this once-great country in their quest for a ‘melting-pot’ culture. But the chickens are now coming home to roost, the worm is turning, and when we win eventually they can take a wheel-barrow and brush to the great north road–permanently.
