A Conservative MP has spoken out about the abuse of Parliament’s Additional Claims Allowance (ACA) – by Labour MPs! This being the case then we feel that the Honourable Member concerned would be well advised not to make a party political issue of this as it is clear that representatives of all three main parties “have their snouts in the trough””! However, the Honourable Member concerned could perform a valuable service to the nation by demanding that both Gordon Brown and David Cameron publish a DETAILED breakdown of their expenses & allowances claiming since 2001 AS AN EXAMPLE TO OTHERS!
Unfortunately, we don’t feel it is likely that the Honourable Member will call on either Brown or Cameron to demonstrate such good faith – not that we have the slightest belief that these “Honourable Members” would do so anyway!
In addition, for those of you seeking even greater insight into how some “Honourable Members” are alleged to be abusing the system – we direct you to an article that may be found: here .
Enjoy – after all, it’s you who are paying for all this!

Two sides of the same coin. “People in glass houses…”
This is what you get when you get career politicians, who have no experience of business or management.
I am old enough to know when people in politics did it for the good of the country, not personal gain. Many of these were from the landed gentry, they did not need to rob the people. They thought it was there duty to serve the people. These are the people Labour despise as the privileged class and have tried to eradicated them from the House of Lords. These people also stood in front of the crowds in the streets at the Hustings and argued there point. None of todays cowardly politicians would even dare do so!
Nothing improves it just gets worse. The old Labour way, throw money at a problem. Money alone does not solve problems. Which this bunch do not understand. In the end we all pay in increased taxation.
Labour have spent all or reserves, nothing left for the financial storm that is about to hit.
India can we have out maney back that Mcbroon gave you. We need it now!
A Tory MP accuses Labour MPs of expense fiddling and David Cameron wants his lot to be more transparent over their claims. What a load of bull!!! They have all been at it, claiming for this and claiming for that. The real issue is, that like folk who work in the real world, there should be a cap on exactly what they can claim for. The access to public funds as a means to subsidise priviledged life styles is too damned easy. Further more, in many professions if you claim expenses then you are liable for tax on those expenses. Do these people have to declare their expenses for tax purposes? I doubt it!
If you ever see a televised debate in Parliament on TV. What do you see? These “Dishonourable Members” slouched in their seats, some barely awake and many with smug, inane grins on their faces going through the motions of “Democracy”.
You will hardly ever see these people discussing with real energy and passion those issues that truly matter to this nation, ie crime, national identity and sovereignty, immigration, fair treatment for the elderly, when and where we commit our armed forces etc. Sometimes they go through the motions and even get a bit noisy but then it is only to score points off each other. The bottom line is that Labour/Lib Dems/Cons work to a basic consensus. They will never step outside the agreed circle. That is why there has been no real anger shown by any side over the abuse of expences.
If they cannot get to grips with something as fundemental as this, how the hell can anyone truly expect that they can get to grips with the real issues which face this country. Well they won’t and they can’t. You can see what happened to Enoch Powell when he stepped outside the box.
The expenses and allowances issue is merely part of a wider malaise at the heart of the present political establishment and the way it operates.
The jeering, sneering, bleating, cheating, freeloading bunch of criminally incompetent, unpatriotic conspirators that comprise the “mother of parliaments” need a really good lesson as to why they are actually there. Only one body of people can do that and that is known as the electorate. Let’s hope that the veil that is gradually lifting on the activities of our so called public servants, will also lift from the eyes of the ordinary elector.
I read in todays paper that one MP has shown receipts for every item that he has felt the need to by outside of his salary.
I do not know if this is the same MP of this post. But one honest man out of 650 odd. Not a very good percentage is it.
Pot, Kettle, and Black spring to mind !….You JUST couldnt make it up could you….
Sounds to me like the SNAKES are begining to turn on one another!
A bunch of schoolchildren squabbling in the playground over who gets the sweets. Impressive.
The general public would have petty thieves jailed, but vote to appoint the prodigious thieves to public office. Perhaps the fact that we have seen millions voting themselves into complete dependence on a tyrant government will make this generation understand that to choose one’s Parliament is not necessarily to secure democracy, freedom, and liberty. Successive administrations Lib/Lab/Con (one for all and all for one) have over the years gradually cloaked their villainy with a veil of secrecy, particularly their own propensity to freeload at the taxpayers’ expense. However everything secret degenerates, even the administration of justice; nothing is safe that does not show how it can bear openness discussion and publicity.
