Surely white voters in London must realise that Ken Livingstone is not just a perky, independent minded man of the left, who collects newts (and often gets as drunk as one). The recent investigations by Channel 4 and the London Evening Standard reveal that he is surrounded by a coterie of unelected old chums of deep red political opinions and equally well-paid “equality” advisors of various shades of duskiness. The latter group is headed by long-term Marxist Lee Jasper, who is under investigation by the Evening Standard over his links to as many as 13 ‘questionable projects’, which have received more than £3.3m in City Hall cash. The two projects at the centre of the investigations happen to be: ‘Brixton Base’ and the ‘Black Londoner’s Forum’.
Now Lee Jasper’s deputy was Rosemary Emodi who with the director of ‘Brixton Base’, Errol Walters, a ‘very close friend’ of Miss Emodi, went on a ‘fact-finding’ mission to Nigeria, staying at a five-star beach resort near Lagos. At first City Hall denied that Miss Emodi went on this jolly with her ‘very close friend’ and said that she was at work in London during the period. Seeing that this fiction would not wash, she was then forced to resign.
Brixton Base has since gone bust, with £535,000 in City Hall money paid into it unaccounted for.
The Channel 4 programme revealed numerous other globe trotting ‘fact-finding’ missions, usually with Red Ken in attendance at the cosmopolitan troughs. More important were the disclosures on his team of unelected advisors, where his connections go way back to when they were all members of Socialist Action, which was the British representative of the old Communist Action Group in Moscow.
In spite of securing the Moslem vote, it would seem that Livingstone is losing votes to all of the Mayoral candidates standing in the May lst election, including to the BNP candidate, backed by a campaign supported by a team of activists from all parts of the country that will have distributed 250,000 special ‘Londoner’ leaflets by the time these words are read.
The BNP’s advance has until recently been a case of three steps forward and two back. Since the New Year it has been more like four steps forward and one back. However, it will take more than that for the BNP Mayoral candidate, Richard Barnbrook, to beat Livingstone and all the Lib-Lab-Cons despite his proven ability to ‘steal a march’ over them.
Richard’s audacity in plonking himself at the head of the 22,500 police protest march through London was inspirational. His reward, which must have been worth another few thousand Londoner’s votes, was to see a report, with a photograph, of his intervention in the London Evening Standard , London TV regional news (until they pulled it), and the Daily Mail, and without a photograph in The Times, Guardian, and the Daily Mirror, plus a scoop for BNPtv who ran the story within two hours of it all happening with full comments from Richard on why he was supporting the police.
The media reports were interlarded with squeals of disgruntlement from the mainly liberal-left at Richard Barnbrook’s attendance. Brian Paddick, a former top cop in the Metropolitan Police and now the Liberal Democrat Mayoral candidate, whinged: “I felt very uncomfortable that there was someone from the BNP. I was aware of him being there and I pointed it out to federation officials but there was nothing more that I could do”. Publisher of Searchlight Gerry Gable, said: “The police federation leaders should have told him to get lost”, splutter, splutter.
Actually Gerry one of the best comments came from the police federation (funnily enough only reported in the Mirror): “He’s a legitimate politician. The BNP isn’t illegal.” Coming from the Mirror that’s real progress for us.

London seems lost. However, the seriousness of this need not be lost to many voters, as they will vote for us in droves, because many are ”white flight” refugees. Also, hundreds of thousands will soon see that the very same Communists are pushing for mini versions of London everywhere, so they will speak with the ballot box when the BNP is standing. Interesting times ahead one thinks.
