Donna Bailey: Pipped to the post!

We have just received word that the British National Party Blond Bombshell, Donna Bailey has narrowly missed out on being elected to the Parish Council at Upper Beeding, West Sussex.

Early indications show that brave Donna was pipped to the the post by a mere 20 votes. Whilst falling a mere 20 votes short of a stunning victory, Donna achieved an enormous 36% of the vote, which by anyone’s standard is a remarkable achievement.

The full results are as follows;

  •  Joyce Shaw (Ind): 297
  • Donna Bailey (BNP): 277
  • Becky Davoubi (Ind): 196

I am sure you will all join us in offering your heartfelt congratulations to Donna and her team for the great work and effort put into this campaign.

  1. Disappointing news, I was expecting a real breakthrough for Donna. However, well done Donna a great achievement in showing the flag and standing up for democracy against local petty tyrants.

Perhaps a little electoral lesson here too. Were there 21 apathetic voters in that village? Who agreed with all Donna stood for, but didn’t bother to turn out. Food for thought.

  3. They obviously did not deserve you yet Donna. Well, that’s their loss for now but still our gain. You won our hearts forever and I know you will win the race the next time around.

  5. CONGRATULATIONS on an excellent result Donna. Shame you never pulled it off but it did take 2 independents to split the vote to stop you winning. You are a credit to the BNP and west Sussex. Keep up the good work……Dave

  7. Bad luck Donna. Never give up because as things get worse folks will realise what party stands up for them.

  8. This is too bad, but I get the impression the Fates that watch over the destiny of this country have reserved her for greater things than the Parish Council at Upper Beeding.

  10. Bad luck Donna, (but what a good result). Well done for having the strength to fight for what you believe in. Keep on trying as the good publicity you have achieved can only take you and the party forward in a good light. If only a couple of people who have read the recent articles give their vote to the BNP in the future then its a small start at the chipping away of the corrupt government we presently have.

  11. Good girl Donna.Better and better for the British way.

The man birtingl who spoke against her with some venom likened the party to those who killed many of his family and race.Mr Birtingl is apparantly jewish. It seems he has forgotten that England was the ONLY country which gave sanctuary to jewsih refugees before the holocaust.

Perhaps he could give us all an insight into the thinking amongst the jewish community which in one generation has seen their numbers fall from over 500,000 to around 270,000 at present and still falling.

Could it be that they don’t want to be in Eurograd as well as us.

  14. Well done Donna. You have at least forced a bit of much needed attention to you community’s problems. As this was the first parish council election held since 1975 one has to ask where Joyce Shaw and her friend Becky Davoubi have been hiding all this time. I suspect they will let their parisheners down simply because they only crawled out of the woodwork ‘to stop the BNP’. They have no credibility.

I must say, I am getting really excited for the general election.

I can not *wait* to get my vote in!

  18. Congratulations, Donna! 36% is an excellent result - in our eyes you’re a winner!
I wonder if they’ve put the results in the Daily Mail??

  20. An excellent result, I would expect that the villagers will now find that the elected councillors will be more active, so it is a victory for the people Donna represents, who knows next time?

  21. Well done Donna. You had to contend with the anti-democratic British media and still achieved over 1/3rd of the total vote. You should be very proud of yourself.

  23. Well done Donna. An excellent result given the usual media bias. Don’t worry, your time will come and you are destined for higher things!

  24. Hmmm I did post a comment saying pretty much what everyone else has said - only it was deleted?

Either way, well done - this is still a pleasing result for the BNP.

  25. A good result, not least because more than a few dozen people actually bothered to vote. Of course, twenty votes is an annoying margin, but the signs are good, very good. Well done Donna!

  26. Well done Donna. You may have not won the seat but you have won thousands of people who admire you for your strength of character to stand up for what you beleive in.

We are all so very proud of you and already know you will be back , as you are not the kind of lady who throws the towel in , and other opportunities will arise in the future for you.

  27. Well done Donna a fantastic result i hope we will be seeing you again and well done for all the hard work the party put in for the campaign. Now lets concentrate on London

  28. Congratulations Donna, and thanks for the role you played in generating positive publicity. Though at the same time I feel ambivalent about the result. It could be a harbinger of the future where the BNP almost gain a well deserved seat but fall short due to a evenly split vote. This scenario has played out in the past for the party. If Britain is to be saved then the BNP MUST gain seats at the next general election, as well as at local level. I was thinking recently that if the collective impact of immigration, crime, youth delinquency, politically correct madness, and poor public morale is not enough to convince people to vote for the BNP then what will?! The other parties offer no credible solutions to solve the ills of this nation, yet a large portion of deluded and/or overly optimisitic people still have a misplaced faith in them. Still, whatever the outcome, nobody can say the BNP is not making an effort.

  31. We need more people like Donna, to be a visible tide of hope against the incompetents.

Yes, it is urgent that we have more BNP people elected ASAP, to take back Britain, and provide proof that the BNP are competent and worth actively voting for.
